<span>Job Purpose The Control & Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and optimization of industrial control and automation systems.<br> The role ensures reliable and safe operation of PLC, SCADA, BMS, DCS, instrumentation, control panels, and associated electrical systems, while supporting preventive and corrective maintenance activities.<br> Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, and automation systems.<br> Diagnose control-system faults and perform corrective actions to minimize equipment downtime.<br> Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs, control logic, sequences, and HMI interfaces.<br> Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for automation and control equipment.<br> Maintain and troubleshoot sensors, transmitters, actuators, control valves, relays, VFDs, and instrumentation.<br> Review electrical and control drawings, including: Control schematics, Wiring diagrams, Single-line diagrams, I/O lists, Instrumentation drawings, Cause & Effect diagrams.<br> Perform testing and commissioning of automation and control systems.<br> Participate in system upgrades, modifications, and new automation projects.<br> Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, IT, and other engineering teams during troubleshooting and project execution.<br> Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for automation improvement and energy optimization.<br> Maintain accurate records of PM/CM activities, breakdowns, modifications, and system parameters.<br> Support contractors and vendors during installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.<br> Ensure automation systems comply with applicable safety, engineering, and company standards/procedures.<br> Prepare technical, maintenance, and test reports, and equipment documentation.<br> Maintain backups of PLC programs, HMI applications, configurations, and critical automation data.<br> Support SCADA/BMS integration and communication networks, including industrial communication protocols.<br> Participate in emergency and breakdown response activities when required.<br> Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.<br> Certification Requirements: Knowledge of IEC, NFPA, ISA, and other applicable standards.<br> Experience: 1-2 years in industrial automation, electrical systems, instrumentation, or maintenance.<br> Languages: Arabic (Fluent), English (Professional).<br> Technical Skills: PLC programming & troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi).<br> SCADA, HMI, DCS, and BMS/IBMS systems.<br> Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, Ethernet/IP, BACnet, OPC).<br> Instrumentation, VFDs, control panels & electrical drawings.<br> Testing, commissioning & control-system diagnostics.<br></span> </div><h2 data-automation-id="subHeaderPreferredCandidate" class="h5">
