<p>Responsibilities The Project Manager is responsible to the Head of Future Support to monitor and control Accounts managed by the SBDCP Future Support CAM teams to ensure the contracted services are safely and sustainably delivered within the approved budget. The Job Holder will be responsible for developing and implementing the project control management aspects of the SBDCP Future Support Organization which fits into the overall Programme, Risk & Opportunity Management system. The Job holder will be responsible to liaise with all functional areas to provide project control support and to manage the inputs in senior performance reviews. <p><b>JOB PURPOSE </b></p><p><br></p><p>BAE Systems is the UK Government s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. BAE Systems Saudi Arabia is committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda including Saudisation and the training and development of Saudi National capability through the growth of the Saudi National Partner Companies thereby reinforcing Industrialisation and Partnerships.</p><p><b><br></b></p><p><b>JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES</b></p><p>Teach: Instruct students on Workplace and Environmental Safety with emphasis on safety aspects related to Flying Operations, Airfield Operations and Aviation & Ground Support Equipment Maintenance/Usage according to the approved syllabus. Develop: Develop appropriate courseware based on associated TNA. Regularly review the relevant subject area s courseware. Recommend changes to the relevant course material. Review and recommend changes to assessment material in the relevant subject area. Deliver or supervise demonstrations in the relevant subject area. Conduct visits to relevant areas of interest. Provide practical and muti-media demonstrations on workplace safety.</p><p>Assess: Conduct regular assessments to ensure students are progressing academically. Conduct phase-end examinations to ensure training objectives have been achieved.</p><p>Discipline: Adopt and promote independent learning and a military ethos in line with the training environment. Provide on-going evaluation of students discipline as part of their final assessment. Counsel and motivate students, where applicable, on relevant academic and discipline issues.</p><p>Record: Record students academic assessment results. Record students lesson attendance. Record any discipline issues with students.</p><p>Report: Provide regular reports concerning student s academic progress, lesson attendance and discipline. Report any other relevant issues whenever required or deemed appropriate. Apply RSAF procedures for configuration control of curriculum and courseware, including preparing documentation and supporting data for curriculum or courseware change requests. Integrate new training materials or equipment into the relevant course. Ensure all training equipment is properly maintained and stored. Contribute to preparation of timetables, scheduling and allocation of instructors.</p><p>Operate: Operate training and operational equipment related to their speciality.</p><p>Other Duties: Ensure compliance with SHE policy and processes and Duty of Care responsibilities. <p><b>JOB PURPOSE B</b>AE Systems is the UK Government s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. The Head of Typhoon Technical Support Service is responsible for the leadership, management and governance of the TTSS organisation in the delivery of delegated Continuing Airworthiness Management Support Services (CAMSS), Technical Support, Reliability, Airworthiness Review, Coordinated Design Services interface and associated support activity within the Salam Typhoon operating environment. The role is a Nominated Post Holder/Form 4 holder and is responsible for ensuring that suitable processes, procedures, controls and assurance arrangements are established and maintained so that technical data, continuing airworthiness advice, recommendations and support outputs provided to the Customer are accurate, controlled, traceable and compliant with applicable CAME, M&CA Mandate, contractual and Customer requirements. The Job Holder will operate under the overall line management/direction of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) TyWSSM and the governance of the RSAF Directorate of Aircraft Maintenance (DoAM) and as such civilian school in Aeronautical Engineering or related technology and will possess extensive proven aircraft engineering/maintenance and logistics experience with proven experience in a management/senior supervisory position, responsible for the leadership, management and application of safety systems in an aircraft operational environment</p><p>The Job Holder will provide advice, support and assistance pertaining to all RSAF Typhoon aircraft to the Typhoon Weapon System Support Manager (TyWSSM) and Director of Aircraft Maintenance in a timely and effective manner, on the following activities:</p><ul><li>In conjunction with the TSC, management and control of the Safety & Quality Management and Assurance systems.</li><li>Continued implementation of Continuous relevant staffs, prepare maintenance support input to requirements and programme management documentation, including statements of requests and work for future Typhoon support proposals.</li><li>Acting as the Typhoon RTS point of contact within the DoAM, monitoring and distributing the RTS to all RSAF stakeholders.</li><li>Acting as office coordinator for the production of reports and briefs on research and development topics, new programmes, safety and reliability subjects, as required.</li><li>Accompanying RSAF officers to briefings and meetings, as The Job Holder will have substanital experience in the maintenance and support of military aviation operations. The incumbent will be from a Typhoon user Air Force background with practical, hands-on experience at a senior management level. Essential: Current 1 st or 2 nd Line Typhoon experience at Senior Supervisor level or above within a Typhoon operational environment. Working knowledge of Safety & Quality Management Systems Comprehensive appreciation of the military airworthiness maintenance regulations. The incumbent must have a detailed knowledge of military maintenance regulatory procedures. Be compliant in Maintenance Error Investigation techniques. Understand the Continuous Improvement (CI) process. Knowledge & Experience in Weapons/Munitions. Desirable: Current 1st Line Typhoon experience at Senior Supervisor level or above or experience of working with Military Fast Jet platforms in the Forward Operational Domain or 2nd Line employment, within the Typhoon industry. <p>The Maintenance Operations Flight (MOF) Team Leader will advise and assist the MOF Commander (MOFC) in the day-to-day management of the MOF responsibilities. In addition, they will ensure all personnel are appropriately qualified and understand the processes and procedures employed within their assigned areas of responsibility. They are also responsible for briefing the MOFC and the Maintenance Squadron Commander (MSC) on issues that affect the availability of aircraft and for the production and analysis of engineering and logistics statistics to improve aircraft availability at both the Main Operating Base and also on Deployed Operations. The Job holder serves as the point of contact between the Integrated Logistics Operations Centre (ILOC) and the MOF for the implementation of the strategic and tactical maintenance management of the assigned Typhoon fleet.
