Job Overview:

As the Marketing Director at First Gulf Company (FGC), you will lead and oversee all marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, market penetration, and business growth in the Saudi market. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and execution of marketing strategies aligned with the company’s vision and objectives.

FGC is a leading solutions provider in the broadcasting industry, construction, facility management, media, AV solutions, and more. With many subsidiaries under the FGC Group, our diverse portfolio complements and supports our core business activities. As the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in showcasing FGC's comprehensive capabilities and strengthening its position as a market leader.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored to FGC's business goals and the Saudi Arabian market.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Establish short-term and long-term marketing plans, including product launches, campaigns, and promotional activities.


Brand Management:

  • Strengthen FGC’s brand positioning in alignment with the company's diverse portfolio of services.
  • Oversee the development of brand assets, including logos, taglines, and messaging frameworks.
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing materials and channels.


Event Management:

  • Lead the planning and execution of industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to showcase FGC’s capabilities across broadcasting, construction, media, and AV solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for event sponsorships, partnerships, and logistics.


Digital and Traditional Marketing:

  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, website updates, and SEO strategies.
  • Manage traditional marketing initiatives such as print advertising, radio campaigns, and outdoor promotions.


Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as sales, HR, and operations to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with subsidiaries and external stakeholders to ensure a unified brand message.


Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the marketing department.
  • Set measurable goals and track team performance through KPIs.


Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Monitor campaign ROI and optimize expenditures based on performance analytics.


Cultural and Regional Sensitivity:

  • Adapt marketing strategies to align with Saudi Arabia’s cultural, legal, and economic environment.
  • Ensure marketing content complies with local regulations and reflects the values of the region.

Skills

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in marketing strategy development and execution, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region.
  • Experience in relevant industries highly preferred.


Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s market dynamics, cultural nuances, and regulatory environment.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, traditional marketing, and event management.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English is highly preferred.
