<b>Join Rotork as an Inside Sales Engineer!</b><br>Rotork is the market-leading global flow control and instrumentation company, renowned for helping our customers manage the flow of liquids, gases, and powders across various industries worldwide. We are currently seeking a talented Inside Sales Engineer for a 9-month temporary assignment in Dhahran.<br><br><b>Key Responsibilities:</b><ul><li>Understand Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and project specifications to prepare accurate and timely quotations for electric actuators and associated spares.</li><li>Handle urgent quotation requests with minimal turnaround time.</li><li>Provide technical support and address queries regarding electric actuator selection, configurations, and applications.</li><li>Collaborate with contracts, engineering, and service teams for technical clarifications and order execution.</li><li>Communicate promptly with customers, ensuring a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.</li><li>Maintain attention to detail to ensure error-free and competitive quotations.</li></ul><br><b>Qualifications:</b><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Chemical, or Instrumentation Engineering.</li><li>4 - 7 years of experience in quotation preparation, sales support, or customer service.</li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.</li><li>Fluency in English is required.</li><li>Experience with valve, actuator, instruments, or electrical/electronic products is preferable.</li></ul>
<b>Role Purpose:</b><br>To follow-up current and future customers and fulfill their requirements with high professionalism, ensuring sales at maximum profitability and lowest risks, while achieving or exceeding personal targets as part of the department's total target.<br><br><b>Job Accountabilities & Activities:</b><ul><li><b>Market Coverage:</b><ul><li>Regularly follow up with customers on the customer list.</li><li>Create new customers by identifying new opportunities.</li><li>Visit consulting and engineering offices to maintain good relationships.</li><li>Follow up on all inquiries, whether incoming or from the media.</li></ul></li><li><b>Preparation of Customer Offers:</b><ul><li>Study customers' verbal or written technical requirements.</li><li>Identify and specify major technical requirements.</li><li>Price using the pricing system or inventory price list.</li><li>Draft technical and commercial offers.</li></ul></li><li><b>Coordination Assignments:</b><ul><li>Coordination with the BDM on content and pricing of offers.</li><li>Collaboration with the Regional Sales in-Charge on daily work agenda.</li><li>Coordinate with the spare parts department for any related requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with the service department for annual maintenance contracts and related preparations.</li></ul></li><li><b>Customer Follow-up:</b><ul><li>Deliver offers to customers and maintain regular contact until deals are concluded.</li><li>Assist customers in obtaining consultants' approval when necessary.</li><li>Provide support on design or modifications per supplier requirements.</li><li>Supervise equipment PDI, delivery, testing, commissioning, and final handover to end users.</li><li>Ensure timely collection of customer credit payments.</li></ul></li><li><b>Market Intelligence:</b><ul><li>Monitor and report competitors' activities such as sales, promotion activities, inventory, and quality of after-sales service.</li></ul></li></ul><br><b>Education & Certifications:</b><br>Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.<br><br><b>Required Years of Experience:</b><br>4 to 6 years’ experience.
