This full-time role is crucial for controlling and verifying day-to-day store operations, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, issuance, and system recording of materials. The Store Keeper plays a vital part in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring proper material handling, and complying with safety and IMS requirements to support uninterrupted plant operations.</p> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul style="margin:0 0 12px; padding-inline-start:24px; list-style-type:disc; list-style-position:outside;"> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Receive incoming materials, physically inspecting quantities, condition, and documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Coordinate inspection routing with Quality or Maintenance departments as required before material acceptance.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Ensure proper tagging, coding, and bin allocation of all received materials.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Control material placement in designated bin locations according to material type, hazard class, and established storage guidelines.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Ensure the preservation of electrical, mechanical, and consumable materials to prevent deterioration, contamination, or damage.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Monitor storage conditions, including the segregation of hazardous or sensitive materials.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Issue materials strictly against approved material requests within the SAP system.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Ensure the correct material, quantity, and batch (if applicable) are issued to the appropriate cost center or department.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Prevent unauthorized withdrawal or misuse of inventory items.</li> </ul> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Inventory Management and Documentation</h3> <ul style="margin:0 0 12px; padding-inline-start:24px; list-style-type:disc; list-style-position:outside;"> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full physical inventory as per the annual plan.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies in coordination with the supervisor.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Monitor reorder levels and inform the supervisor of critical stock shortages.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Execute and validate item postings, material transfers, goods issues, and return postings in SAP.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Maintain accurate documentation, including bin cards, inspection records, and stock adjustment forms.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Support audit requirements by providing transaction records and physical stock confirmation.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Report damaged, expired, obsolete, or unsafe materials immediately.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">Maintain high housekeeping standards within assigned storage areas.</li> </ul> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Qualifications and Experience</h3> <ul style="margin:0 0 12px; padding-inline-start:24px; list-style-type:disc; list-style-position:outside;"> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">A Vocational/Technical Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Warehouse Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is required.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">For candidates with a <strong style="font-weight:700;">Vocational/Technical Certificate</strong>, a minimum of 7 years of experience in stationary machine operations within a steel melt shop or similar industrial environment is essential.</li> <li style="margin:0 0 6px;">For candidates with a <strong style="font-weight:700;">Diploma</strong>, a minimum of 5 years of experience in stationary machine operations within a steel melt shop or similar industrial environment is required.</li> </ul> <h3 style="font-size:18px; font-weight:700; margin:16px 0 8px;">Work Environment</h3> <p style="margin:0 0 12px; ************;">The successful candidate will join a multicultural and diverse team, contributing to the operational efficiency of KUWAIT STEEL in Al Qatif.</p>
