Supervision of Execution Project Manager - Mechanical Engineer with experience to join the consultant team supervising the execution of a security systems development project in Dammam. The job holder will be the primary person responsible for supervising mechanical works on-site, in addition to leading and coordinating activities associated with mechanical works with the rest of the project disciplines, and following up on execution, inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover. Tasks and Responsibilities: • Direct supervision of all mechanical works and activities on-site. • Reviewing mechanical drawings and IFC drawings and ensuring their compliance with specifications and project requirements. • Reviewing and approving mechanical materials, equipment, suppliers, and related technical documents. • Reviewing Method Statements, ITPs, and Installation Procedures related to mechanical works. • Monitoring the execution of mechanical works and ensuring their compliance with approved drawings and specifications. • Inspecting mechanical materials and equipment arriving at the site and ensuring their compliance with specifications. • Reviewing Requests for Inspection (RFI) and technical queries related to mechanical works. • Monitoring any discrepancies between approved drawings and site reality and coordinating to prepare Redline drawings when needed. • Monitoring the quality of execution and mechanical installation works. • Coordinating with the electrical engineer, civil engineer, security systems team, and other disciplines. • Participating in and supervising testing, commissioning, and handover works for mechanical activities. • Reviewing As-Built drawings and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals. • Following up on observations and the Punch List and closing them out. • Participating in final handover and project closeout. • Preparing weekly and monthly technical reports related to mechanical works. This is a senior commercial role requiring a proven ability to identify major projects at an early stage, influence specifications and approved vendor lists, develop project pursuit strategies, coordinate technical and commercial activities, and convert opportunities into orders.
