<p>Cost and Inventory Accountant required</p><p>For an establishment operating in the <strong>Food and Beverage sector</strong>, we are looking for an accountant with strong practical experience in <strong>costs, inventory, and financial control</strong>, who is capable of building and monitoring a clear accounting cycle for the branches.</p><p><strong>Required Tasks and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in <strong>calculating product costs (Food Cost)</strong>, building recipes and costs, and analyzing profit margins.</li><li>Managing inventory, conducting <strong>periodic and surprise audits</strong>, and analyzing inventory variances.</li><li>Monitoring <strong>waste, spoilage, and damage</strong>, and analyzing the causes of deviations.</li><li>Very good experience in the <strong>Foodics</strong> system, especially sales, inventory, reporting, items, and costs.</li><li>Proficiency in working with <strong>accounting software and ERP systems</strong> and linking operational processes with accounts.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in <strong>Excel</strong> for preparing reports, analyses, and reconciliations.</li><li>Reviewing daily sales and reconciling them with <strong>cash, POS terminals, bank accounts, and payment methods</strong>.</li><li>Experience with <strong>delivery applications</strong> and reviewing commissions, discounts, settlements, and receivables.</li><li>Monitoring purchases, suppliers, and expenses, and reconciling accounts.</li><li>Preparing and reviewing <strong>tax returns and Value Added Tax (VAT)</strong>.</li><li>Preparing payrolls, overtime, deductions, and employee end-of-service entitlements.</li><li>Monitoring <strong>fixed assets, depreciation, and disposals</strong>.</li><li>Preparing monthly reports showing <strong>costs, expenses, deviations, and the profitability of each branch</strong>.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Previous practical experience in <strong>cost and inventory accounting</strong>.</li><li>Strong preference for those with previous experience in the <strong>Food and Beverage sector or restaurants and cafes</strong>.</li><li><strong>Proficiency in Foodics is an important requirement.</strong></li><li>Proficiency in at least one accounting software, with the software previously worked on mentioned in the CV.</li><li>A precise and analytical personality capable of detecting discrepancies rather than just recording operations.</li></ul>
