Job Description – Customs Clearance Representative (مندوب تخليص جمركي) Job Title: Customs Clearance Representative / Customs Broker Department: Customs Clearance / Operations Reports To: Customs Clearance Supervisor / Operations Manager Job Purpose:Responsible for managing and completing all customs clearance procedures for shipments, ensuring compliance with Saudi customs regulations, timely processing, and smooth coordination between customers, customs authorities, ports, transport teams, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities:Handle customs clearance processes for import and export shipments. Prepare, review, and submit customs documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, permits, etc.). Submit declarations through customs platforms such as FASAH / ZATCA systems. Coordinate with customs authorities, port operators, and government agencies to ensure smooth clearance. Follow up on shipment status and resolve clearance issues or delays. Verify HS codes, customs requirements, duties, and regulatory compliance. Arrange inspections, examinations, and approvals when required. Coordinate with transport teams for cargo release and delivery arrangements. Maintain accurate records of customs documents and clearance files. Provide customers with regular updates regarding clearance status. Ensure compliance with company procedures, customs regulations, and operational standards. Support in solving operational issues and escalating critical matters to management. Requirements:Previous experience in customs clearance / logistics operations. Good knowledge of Saudi Customs regulations and import/export procedures. Experience with FASAH and customs declaration systems. Knowledge of shipping documents and freight forwarding processes. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments. Good Arabic and English communication skills. Valid customs clearance license (if applicable) is preferred.
