<h3 >About the Role</h3>
<p >Norconsult Telematics is seeking an <strong >Assistant Project Manager (MEP)</strong> for a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supporting the Project Management Consultant (PMC) and the Construction Project Manager in the delivery management and oversight of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects across both off-site factory and on-site works. The Assistant Project Manager will ensure the PMC's final review and approval of MEP design and submittals, following the supervision consultant's (CSC) initial checks, for client endorsement.</p> <h3 >Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul >
<li >Coordinate the PMC's final review and approval of MEP detailed design, Issued-For-Construction (IFC) drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings from the Designer or design-build Contractor, after the CSC's first-line check, and flag conflicts.</li>
<li >Coordinate MEP interfaces with architectural, structural, and low-current disciplines across factory-built modules and on-site installation, escalating services-routing issues for resolution.</li>
<li >Review and track the Contractor's method statements (MS), material approval requests (MAR), inspection and test plans (ITP), prequalification documents (PQD), and requests for information (RFI) for MEP scope after the CSC's first-line review, confirming PMC final approval before work or procurement.</li>
<li >Monitor MEP progress in factory modules and during on-site erection and external infrastructure, covering heating, ventilation and air conditioning, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, power, distribution, cabling, and earthing.</li>
<li >Review the CSC's material inspection requests (MIR) and work inspection requests (WIR) records, and audit that the CSC is raising, witnessing, and closing them at agreed hold and witness points.</li>
<li >Review Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) results for MEP equipment before module shipment and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) after installation, witnessed by the CSC, providing PMC final acceptance for reporting.</li>
<li >Oversee MEP testing and commissioning, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning balancing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of firefighting, plumbing, and electrical systems, verifying results against approved design intent.</li>
<li >Maintain the MEP submittal register, track turnaround against timelines, and chase overdue items with the CSC, Designer, and Contractor.</li>
<li >Monitor Site Observation Reports (SOR) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) raised by the CSC for MEP scope, audit trends, and verify close-out at the governance level.</li>
<li >Audit quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) records for MEP over the CSC, confirming inspection records, material certificates, and test results are complete and traceable to specifications.</li>
<li >Support cost, risk, and reporting for the MEP scope, monitoring the health, safety, and environment (HSE) interface through CSC records and tracking MEP risks.</li>
<li >Compile MEP progress, submittal status, and Defects Liability Period (DLP) close-out into weekly and monthly input for the Construction Project Manager and the reporting cycle.</li>
</ul> <h3 >Required Qualifications and Experience</h3>

<li >A relevant accredited bachelor's degree.</li>
<li >Significant experience (5-10 years) in MEP construction, project management, or project controls on building or infrastructure projects.</li>
<li >Experience with modular or prefabricated construction is preferred.</li>

Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.<br>Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying. Proven experience in roads, infrastructure, and utilities projects. Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, measurements, VO, IPC, and claims. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is preferred. Excellent knowledge of Excel and quantity surveying practices.
We are looking for a skilled Civil 3D Roads Operator to join our team and support the delivery of major road and infrastructure projects.<br>Key Responsibilities:Create and manage road alignments, profiles, and assemblies in Autodesk Civil 3D. Develop corridor models and generate cross-sections. Prepare road design drawings and engineering deliverables. Model intersections, roundabouts, and road widening schemes. Perform earthwork analysis and quantity calculations. Coordinate road models with utilities, drainage, and structural elements. Support engineers in developing and optimizing road designs. Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and design requirements. Participate in design reviews and model coordination meetings.<br>Qualifications & Experience:Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Extensive experience in road corridor modeling using Autodesk Civil 3D. Strong understanding of road geometry and highway design principles. Ability to generate construction-ready road design deliverables. Experience working on infrastructure, transportation, or highway projects. Familiarity with BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination is an advantage.
