Job Summary<br>Responsible to supervise all operational dynamics within medical records & reports including files creation. file management, file maintenance, clinical coding, discharge summary completion, file extraction. Tile confidentiality, medical reports issuance, coordination with physicians and team scheduling for 24 hours operations.<br><br>Major Responsibilities Ensures through his action, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the Hospital and Clinics Plan, develop and maintain a system of Medical Records to attain the hospital goals and meet standards of CBAI I l & JCIA. Prepares technical reports reflecting the volume of work, procedures utilized and Medical Records & Reports services: coordinate the preparation of reports and analyses setting forth progress. Incomplete medical records, and diagnostic data services (JCIA& CBAIII standard). Maintain sufficient inventory of materials and equipment for performance of duties and maintain standard Medical Record Department equipment with budgetary guidelines. Assure implementing Quality Assurance and Safety to comply with internal and external regulations. Train. Supervise and evaluate the performance of Medical Record Technicians, develop work performance standards. Schedule/assigns work and priorities and provide technical expertise as needed or requested. Organization and operation of Medical Records & Reports services (OP & IP) in relation to the standards and in relation to new technology, e.g. computers, etc. and make appropriate revisions. Provides for a staff education and development program for new hire orientation, teaching, new procedures and techniques. Upgrading skills. Approves or recommends annual leave, educational leave, and training assignments. Taking an active role in helping the medical staff comply with the JCIA & CBAHI requirements for medical record review.<br>Supplying data and assisting physicians in conducting research studies. Recommends employment promotion and release of personnel. Interfaces with the other departments to coordinate and resolve problems.
