<p>Performs ultrasound examination and assists the radiology in doing special and interventional procedures in ultrasound. Performs ultrasound examinations including ultrasonography of the abdomen, pelvis, obstetric and breast. Submits the images to the radiologist for discussion and reporting. Calls the radiologist for consultation during the examination in difficult cases. Responsible for correct identification of patients and site of examination. Explains the procedure and instructs the patient in assuming physical position for examination. Selects transducer and adjusts equipment controls according to the organ to be examined. Keys patient information into ultrasound equipment to maintain record of images. Records the images on the machine and transfer it to PACS. Responsible for recording the details of the patient to the logbook. Keeps ultrasound rooms in a neat and orderly appearance at all times. To support & back up the Marketing, Sales & Regulatory departments in scientific and medical issues to achieve the company’s objectives. Serves as a medical expert for internal medical and sales training. Support clinical research and IIS (Investigator Initiated Studies) and observational studies following guidelines & company-relevant SOPs. Attending relevant scientific meetings and conferences and supporting the development of summaries of key data, presentations, or symposiums.<br>To be successful you will need to meet the following:Due to Saudization, only Saudi nationals will be considered for this position. Medical degree (MD), Pharm D, or relevant life-science qualification. Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceuticals industry. Experience in Oncology Medical Affairs is a must Strong understanding of oncology therapeutic areas and the Saudi healthcare landscape. Excellent scientific communication and presentation skills.
