About the role Noon is changing how students in Saudi learn a remote star teacher, a physical classroom, an in-room facilitator, and a content engine that has to keep up with all of it. The Learning Team owns that engine: term plans, session design, question banks, and assessments across Qudrat, Tahsili, Nafes, the National Curriculum, and our International track. We're hiring a Learning Design Manager to run the Sciences (Biology / Chemistry) side of it. This is a management and delivery role, not an academic one. You will not be writing lessons your four Design Leads do that, and they're the subject-matter experts. Your job is to make sure the right content gets built, to the right standard, on time, every single term, by a team that gets better each cycle. If you've spent your career as an individual contributor designing curriculum, this isn't your role. If you've spent it getting a team of specialists to ship reliably under pressure, keep reading.

What you'll own

The team. Four Design Leads covering Biology (Tahsili), Chemistry (Tahsili), Science (Middle School & Nafes), and Bio & Chem (International) plus content creators and a QA contractor. The science content roadmap end-to-end: what gets built, in what order, by whom, by when, across Grades 7 12 on both the National and International tracks. At any moment, you know what's on track, what's slipping, and what you're doing about it.

The operating cadence. Capacity planning, production planning, prioritisation calls, and unblocking. You run the rituals that keep a multi-subject, multi-grade pipeline moving without weekly firefighting.

The quality bar. "You've spent ten years making a subject land for the students in front of you. This is the job where that judgement shapes what thousands of students are taught every day — and you still teach, because we think you stop being any good at this the moment you leave the classroom."
About Noon
Radically Changing the Way People Learn!
Noon Academy is the leading edtech platform in the Middle East, with over 12 million students and teachers using our app to learn, teach, and collaborate. We have recently raised $41 million in Series B funding to expand our reach and impact in the region and beyond. We are on a mission to transform the physical classroom experience by introducing our highly engaging social, group-based learning and AI to make learning fun and improve learning efficacy. Our ultimate goal is to provide access to the best teachers to every student even if that teacher is only available virtually. We believe we can do this if we blend AI, peer-to-peer learning, and a carefully designed physical space.
Hear it directly from our CEO and co-founder: this Learn more about us: here
Now: We’re laser-focused on reinventing schools in Saudi Arabia. We’re accelerating rapidly, well-funded, and profitable.
Office: Full-time, Riyadh-based.
About The Role
Noon runs hybrid classrooms across Saudi Arabia: a remote star teacher leads the session, students sit together in a physical classroom, and an in-room facilitator keeps the room working. It's a genuinely different way to teach, and it only works if someone with real classroom authority is shaping what gets taught and how it lands.
That's this role. We're looking for a Head Teacher for the National track Math & Physics — someone with a decade or more of actual teaching behind them, who has coached other teachers, and who wants their judgement to reach thousands of students a day instead of thirty.
This is an academic role, not a management one. You won't run a department's admin or manage headcount. You'll decide what the curriculum should emphasize, hold the quality bar on how it's built, coach the teachers delivering it, and stay in the classroom yourself often enough to know whether any of it is actually working.
How The Role Splits Area Share - What It Means Day To Day
Curriculum & term planning50%Working with the design team to decide the curriculum itself — which topics to cover, what needs more weight and what needs less, and how the term and year plan fits together. You review the final lesson once it's built in the system. You don't build it yourself; that's the Design Lead's job.
Coaching delivery teachers30%Coaching the teachers who actually present sessions to students — how to deliver the content, hold a hybrid room, and keep students engaged through a screen. Observation, feedback, and follow-up that changes practice.
Delivering lessons20%Teaching sessions yourself. Not as a regular teacher on the roster — it's to stay close to the content, see how it lands in practice, and hear directly from students.
What You'll Own The academic quality of Math & Phys curriculum across Middle School and High School on the National track — topic sequencing, weighting, depth, and alignment to what students are actually assessed on. Term and year plans, built with the Design Leads and signed off by you before they go into production. Final review of built lessons before they reach students — you're the last academic gate. Coaching and development of the delivery teaching bench for your subjects, in partnership with Learning Excellence's observation and evaluation cycle. Reading the assessment signal — Diagnostics, Exit Tickets, End-of-Chapter results, and Learning Gain — and translating it into what changes next term. Being the academic voice in cross-functional conversations with Design, Learning Excellence, Product and Data.
What We're Looking For Must have Minimum 10 years of actual classroom teaching experience Math or Physics, with genuine depth across both middle school and high school.3–5 years managing or coaching other teachers — as a head of department, subject lead, mentor, or in a formal coaching role. Familiarity with Saudi national assessments — Qudurat, Tahsili, and Nafes. Strong digital capability and real comfort teaching in a digital environment. This is a hybrid classroom, delivered through a platform — not an occasional Power Point. Fluent Arabic; professional English. Based in Riyadh. Saudi nationals with KSA teaching experience strongly preferred. Nice to have A coaching certification or completion of a formal teacher training program International curriculum experience — not only the local curriculum Familiarity with international assessment frameworks — PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS — and what they imply for how you teach, not just what they are. Experience using AI in teaching or curriculum work. Experience with hybrid, blended, or remote instruction Why this role Reach. A great teacher changes thirty students a year. Here, your curriculum judgement reaches thousands of students a day, across every school Noon operates in. Real academic authority. You're the gate on what ships. Not an advisor to a decision someone else makes. A different model, being built now. Hybrid teaching in Saudi is genuinely new, and the pedagogy for it is being figured out by the people doing it — including you. Evidence, not opinion. Diagnostics, Exit Tickets, End-of-Chapter results, and Learning Gain data mean you can actually see whether your calls worked.
Noon Academy is the #1 EdTech in MENAP, on a mission to radically change the way students learn. Founded in Riyadh in 2013, we've taught over 20 million students across five countries — and today we run Noon Tracks, hybrid micro-schools where a master teacher goes live across up to 20 classrooms at once, amplified by AI and peer-to-peer learning. Never study alone.
