This position is ideal for a technically strong engineer who thrives in dynamic project environments and is passionate about driving measurable performance improvements.<br><br><br>What You Will Be Doing<br><br>Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise: Evaluate operating processes to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency gains, and variability reduction Design and implement advanced process control (APC) solutions, including control strategies and optimization applications Develop and validate dynamic process models using plant data and first-principles simulation techniques Configure and tune multivariable predictive controllers and associated control parameters Collect, analyze, and interpret engineering and operational data to support model development and optimization strategies Collaborate with control room operators, process engineers, and instrumentation teams to complete commissioning and control response testing Provide commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting support for deployed APC applications Execute simulation and acceptance testing for large-scale optimization projects to ensure system performance and reliability Monitor application performance and recommend continuous improvements to sustain optimization benefits over time Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including control strategies, test plans, and commissioning reports Support proposal development and identify opportunities for expanded automation and digitalization solutions Adhere to company safety standards, including the ANDRITZ Life-Saving Rules, and promote a strong safety culture Demonstrate and reinforce #1ANDRITZway core values and behaviors in all aspects of work <br>What We're Looking For<br><br>When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer, Chemical, Engineering Physics, or Mining Engineering Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in industrial automation and/or advanced process control (APC) Hands-on experience with control systems, including DCS/PLC environments and system troubleshooting Strong understanding of advanced process control concepts, including model predictive control (MPC) and loop tuning Proven ability to analyze complex process data and translate insights into effective control strategies Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support commissioning and site activities Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a strong asset <br>Nice to Have<br> Experience in mining, mineral processing, or other heavy industrial process environments Knowledge of predictive control theory and experience with industrial APC platforms Experience with industrial process simulation Familiarity with major control platforms (e.g., Yokogawa, Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, ABB, Emerson, Honeywell) Proficiency with Python, R, or SQL Experience in consulting engineering environments Instrumentation and electrical troubleshooting experience Commissioning, construction, and start-up experience <br>Language & Location Requirements<br> Fluency in English is required Arabic language skills are a strong asset Position based in EMEA, with travel to customer sites as required

By refusing to settle, you can help redefine what’s possible and shape the future of mobility.<br><br>The Incoming Quality Engineer is in charge of Incoming Quality activities at AMP2 KSA and works with cross-functional teams throughout the entire Manufacturing operations working proactively to protect the Lucid production lines from Quality issues, secure Quality of parts prior to their introduction to the line. Contains Supplier Quality issues and monitors Supplier Quality Performance and improvement.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Deploy Incoming Quality Strategy, processes and activities. Set-up Quality resources and tools. React immediately to any Supplier-related abnormality with urgency bringing an immediate containment and interim solution to the affected process to protect the internal and external customer. Challenge containment solutions and execution timing. Develop and deploy Incoming Quality inspection methods, tools, methodologies and work instructions. Collaborate with IT team to build and update the incoming Quality SAP module within SAP. Train and coach Incoming Quality team members. Monitor Statistical Process Control through SAP when required. Ensure Incoming Quality Inspection recording and accuracy. Develop quality plans, design test methods and gages, identify potential failure modes and process weaknesses and drive corrective actions Create and implement departmental processes such as control and reaction plans to protect factory’s Quality & delivery with excellent cross-functional collaboration. Close interaction with suppliers, Supplier Quality Development, Supply Chain and Quality Engineering teams to align requirements and expectations. Collaborate with suppliers and supplier’s residents to ensure immediate reaction to Quality Issues. Manage supplier claims process including chargeback and tracking of problem-solving milestones and due dates. Support Material Review Board process to investigate for supplier non-conformities and determine root cause and work with cross-functional team to identify and implement corrective actions, drive sustained long-term permanent and preventive actions. Manage third party services in house for sorting and repair/touch-up including resources design, reporting and regular performance evaluation. Track Supplier Quality<br><br>Skills<br><br>Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings and an in-depth knowledge of quality standards and specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Cross-functional Team player with strong interpersonal skills, hands-on and data driven, be able to adapt to the dynamic working environment, creative mindset in problem solving. Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook). Creative, energetic, self-motivated and highly organized.<br><br>Minimum Qualifications<br><br>BSc/Master Degree in Engineering required (Industrial Engineering or Mechanical preferred).2-5 years in a high-volume OEM manufacturing background is a Must. Minimum 4 years of Experience within the same role is Required. Able to influence, gain consensus and can interface well with senior management. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects. Strong data analysis and visualization skills. Familiarity with SAP Quality Module is required. Job Purpose:The Automation & Surveillance Engineer is responsible for carrying out core technical activities related to the design, testing, validation, and ongoing support of Automation and Surveillance systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices within set KPI’s, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.<br>Responsibilities:<br>Pre-sale Technical Proposals: Oversee the development of technical proposals for Automation and Surveillance systems in response to RFPs from clients. Ensure these proposals meet regulatory and operational standards, including system design concepts, performance specifications, and compliance with aviation industry standards. Project Management & Coordination System Design and Implementation: Contribute to the design and implementation of Automation and Surveillance systems, working closely with internal teams to ensure systems are engineered to meet operational, safety, and regulatory requirements. System Testing and Validation: Lead the testing and validation processes for Automation and Surveillance systems, ensuring adherence to design requirements and regulatory standards. Provide technical assistance during the transition to operational use, including shadow mode testing and activities for full entry into operation. Regulatory Compliance: Continuously monitor and ensure that all Automation and Surveillance systems comply with relevant ICAO and other aviation industry regulations. Compliance with Industry Standards: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICAO and other relevant regulations, and ensure that all engineering activities comply with these standards, particularly in safety-critical aspects of air traffic management. Engineering Assessments: Support the assessment of air traffic service (ATS) procedure changes and airspace structure adjustments on existing and future Automation and Surveillance systems. Stakeholder Management Internal Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate the interactions with internal stakeholders, including technical, financial, and legal teams, to obtain necessary information and approvals for bid submissions. Other Engineering Departments: Coordinate with other engineering departments to facilitate meeting the client expectation within the project specification and standards. Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors and contractors to develop RFPs, participate in proposal evaluation, and oversee the technical aspects of contract execution. Ensure all external activities align with project specifications and quality standards. Performance and Reporting Reporting: Reporting project status, technical challenges, and proposed solutions to Automation and Surveillance Manager. Consultation Technical Support and Consultation: Offer expert technical support during the execution phase of projects, collaborating with the installation and planning teams to ensure seamless project delivery. Act as a consultant to clients, ensuring that solutions align with the client’s operational goals and industry standards. Policies, Processes and Procedures Compliance: Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance to policies and procedures. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction and productivity improvement. <br>Specialized Skills Proficient in engineering design and simulation software, with experience in integrating and maintaining Automation and Surveillance systems. In-depth knowledge of Automation and Surveillance systems, including Air Traffic Management (ATM) automation, radar systems, ADS-B, and multilateration (MLAT) technologies. Familiarity with ICAO standards, CNS/ATM systems, and relevant aviation regulations. Experience with system architecture, signal processing, and the implementation of advanced surveillance technologies in aviation.
