This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.</span><br><span>Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high-calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.</span></p><br><p><span><strong>You’ll be responsible for:</strong></span></p><br><ul><li><p><span><span>Manage the preparation and execution of contract documents, warranties, bonds, licenses, and provide contract administration advice throughout project delivery.</span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Measure, value, and agree completed work and contract variations, ensuring compliance with contract terms and accurate financial management.</span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Maintain effective cost control procedures, oversee contract financial reporting, and present monthly post-contract cost reports to clients.</span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Identify and assess cost impacts arising from design changes, contract awards, construction activities, client instructions, and project developments.</span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Evaluate and negotiate contractor and subcontractor claims relating to delays, variations, and additional costs, providing commercial recommendations.</span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Advise on practical completion, defects rectification, final completion certification, and negotiate and agree final accounts.</span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Lead, manage, and develop Cost Consultants, Managers, and professional teams through coaching, performance management, continuous improvement, and transformational change initiatives.</span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships, influence senior decision-makers, and support net zero carbon objectives through proactive management of carbon emissions and reduction opportunities.</span></span></p><br></li></ul><p><span><strong>You’ll need to have:</strong></span></p><br><ul><li><p><span><span>Degree in quantity surveying/cost management (or equivalent). </span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Professional membership or working towards i.e. MRICS/RICS, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. </span></span></p><br></li><li><p><span><span>Extensive experience in managing major MEP building services procurement, subcontract procurement, commercial management, and final account negotiations across large-scale developments.
