Role Summary:
We are now seeking an Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager role will work on our Client Services team as a dedicated day-to-day client-facing contact for luxury and ultra-luxury client(s) based in the MENA region. This position will report to the Vice President Client Services with day-to-day support from the Senior Group Account Director. With support from the core US team, this account manager must understand the agency's processes and ways of working and effectively manage work across distributed teams. This manager will work with AZDS' US-based and global team in support of day-to-day client priorities, retainer deliverables, project timelines, stakeholder coordination, and ad hoc project work.
For this specific Account Manager role, we require the candidate to be a Saudi national, based in Riyadh, and able to work from our office at least 2-3 days per week. This position is part-time to start, with a clear opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on new business growth.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys wearing many hats, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can be successful operating independently. He or she should be comfortable making informed decisions based on data and strategy, providing thoughtful insights on day-to-day work, and anticipating client questions. Our ideal candidate should be someone who will enjoy a combination of strategy, project management, task management and execution.
Key Role Responsibilities:
• Overall accountability for client satisfaction, success and retention, ensuring all deliverables,
• milestones and objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
• Partner with Account Director and other internal agency teams to ensure Ensure client account(s) are managed to achieve P+L and margins targets.
• Coordinating agency resources and timelines to support client priorities, scoped deliverables, and project work, including website-related projects where applicable, with a focus on timelines, internal coordination, client approvals, and delivery tracking.
• Develop and manage project timelines, status trackers, action items, and supporting project plans with coordinated ways of working to support required deliverables.
• Lead regular communication between internal and external clients regarding project status, budget burndown, project progress, timelines, risks, blockers, approvals, next steps, and other priority topics as defined within each SOW.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with clients to align on goal attainment, progress against
• the annual plan, process improvement, and overall account health.
• Guide the annual planning process with clients to outline annual goals and objectives,
• develop the annual strategy and service package, align services and fees with clients goals
• and budget; responsible for client retention and achieving organic growth targets.
• Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely
• communication
• Oversee ad hoc projects, including resource coordination, planning, and client
• communications</p><p>Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of prior account management experience
• Experience with client-facing account management and project management in a fast-paced agency, client services, or digital environment. Website project management experience is preferred.
• Experience managing projects, timelines, stakeholders, deliverables, approvals, and client communications.
• Fluent in English (C1+, both written and verbal)
• Available for 2-3 hours of overlap with US Mountain Time
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hospitality or luxury travel experience.
• Website project management experience, including creating JIRA tickets with clear requirements, tracking status for website updates, website development projects, CMS workflows, QA coordination, launch planning, or client-side website project coordination.

<p>The role will own the SME acquisition strategy, lead generation programs, awareness campaigns, sales activation initiatives, conversion optimization, and performance governance to accelerate SME customer acquisition, product penetration, and portfolio growth.</p>
<p>The individual will serve as the central coordinator across business, marketing, digital, analytics, product, operations, and sales teams to ensure a consistent and scalable acquisition engine that delivers sustained growth.</p>
<p> <strong>Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities:</strong> </p>
<p>1. SME Acquisition Strategy</p>
<ul> <li>Develop and execute the bank's SME acquisition strategy aligned to business growth objectives.</li> <li>Define annual and quarterly acquisition targets across channels.</li> <li>Identify priority customer segments, industries, and geographic markets.</li> <li>Develop channel-specific acquisition plans and growth roadmaps.</li> </ul>
<p>2. Lead Generation & Demand Creation</p>
<ul> <li>Design and manage lead generation programs across digital and physical channels.</li> <li>Build acquisition funnels leveraging: Branch network, Relationship Managers, Digital Banking, Website and Landing Pages, social media, Contact Centre, Third-Party Partnerships, Referral Programs.</li> <li>Establish lead sourcing, qualification, distribution, and tracking frameworks.</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement of lead quality and conversion rates.</li> </ul>
<p>3. Awareness Campaigns & Market Activation</p>
<ul> <li>Develop and execute SME awareness campaigns to increase product visibility and market penetration.</li> <li>Partner with Marketing to launch: Digital acquisition campaigns, MCC-specific campaigns, SME events and roadshows, Content marketing initiatives, Email and CRM campaigns.</li> <li>Ensure alignment of campaign messaging across all customer touchpoints.</li> <li>Monitor campaign performance and optimize ROI.</li> </ul>
<p>4. Sales Enablement & Channel Activation</p>
<ul> <li>Develop acquisition playbooks for branches and RM teams.</li> <li>Conduct regular training and capability-building sessions for sales channels.</li> <li>Drive channel engagement programs and sales contests.</li> <li>Create incentive programs to improve acquisition productivity.</li> <li>Enable frontline teams with sales collateral, objection-handling guides, and value proposition messaging.</li> </ul>
<p>5. Conversion & Funnel Optimization</p>
<ul> <li>Own the end-to-end conversion funnel from lead generation to account opening and product activation.</li> <li>Monitor conversion performance across all acquisition stages.</li> <li>Identify bottlenecks impacting lead conversion and onboarding.</li> <li>Partner with Operations, Risk, Product, and Digital teams to improve turnaround times and customer experience.</li> <li>Implement initiatives to reduce application abandonment and increase approval rates.</li> </ul>
<p>6. Performance Analytics & MIS</p>
<ul> <li>Develop dashboards and management reporting for: Lead volumes, Conversion rates, Campaign ROI</li> <li>Provide business insights and recommendations to senior leadership.</li> <li>Track acquisition performance against targets and take corrective actions where required.</li> </ul>
<p>7. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development</p>
<ul> <li>Identify and develop partnerships with SME ecosystem players, fintechs, chambers of commerce, business associations, and digital platforms.</li> <li>Create referral and co-marketing programs to generate incremental SME leads.</li> <li>Evaluate new acquisition channels and partnership opportunities.</li> </ul>
<p> <strong>Knowledge and Experience:</strong> </p>
<ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).</li> <li>10+ years of banking experience in SME Banking, Retail Banking, Sales, Acquisition, Marketing, or Business Development. </li> <li>Proven experience driving SME customer acquisition programs. </li> <li>Strong experience managing multi-channel acquisition strategies. </li> <li>Hands-on experience with CRM, lead management, campaign execution, and sales performance management. </li> <li>Experience working with digital acquisition and performance marketing teams. </li> <li>GCC banking experience, preferably in KSA, is highly preferred. </li> <li>Experience working with SME Banking, Business Banking, Merchant Acquiring, Lending, or Payment's products is an advantage. </li> </ul>
<p> <strong>Mandatory Skills:</strong> </p>
<ul> <li>Previous experience within Banking, Digital Payment & Card solutions, or the FinTech industry.</li> <li>Regional experience, including working in a faced-paced matrix organisation.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills in English (written, verbal, and presentation); Arabic preferred.</li> </ul>
<p> <strong>Preferred Skills:</strong> </p>
<ul> <li>The ability to analyse data, troubleshoot payment issues, optimize processes, and make data-driven decisions.</li> <li>Good understanding of payment systems, digital platforms, system workflows, security basics, and industry technologies.</li> <li>An understanding of regional regulations across financial services or payment networks.</li> </ul></div></section>
