<p>WSP Middle East is hiring an experienced Technical Director – Utilities to lead and grow a high-performing utilities discipline within a leading engineering consultancy in Riyadh. This role sits within the Transport & Infrastructure business unit, supporting the delivery of large-scale infrastructure and masterplan land development projects across Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar.</p><br><p>The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, project oversight, and client engagement across all aspects of dry utilities & MEICA designs, including power, telecommunications, district cooling, Gas, street lighting, and related systems. Job Purpose Statement:Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the overall operations of food and non-food stores within the In-Flight Catering segment. This role ensures effective inventory management, stock integrity, proper receiving and storage practices, and compliance with food safety and company standards. The position also leads manpower planning, cost control, and continuous improvement of store operations to support efficient supply chain performance and uninterrupted catering operations.<br>Roles & Responsibility:Ensure effective implementation and compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards within the Stores department. Oversee the receiving process to ensure all items are received according to agreed specifications, quantities, and pricing. Ensure proper storage of food and non-food items in accordance with FEFO and LIFO principles as applicable. Maintain stock integrity through effective inventory control, accurate recording of transactions, and up-to-date stock balances. Conduct periodic and random stock checks to ensure accuracy, prevent discrepancies, and maintain inventory accountability. Coordinate with relevant departments to obtain demand forecasts and ensure proper planning of inventory requirements. Ensure timely reordering of items considering stock days, storage capacity, operational requirements, and supplier lead times. Monitor and manage stock levels to ensure they remain within approved operational targets and inventory policies.
