Banks Accountant <br>-Overview<br>The Banks Accountant is required to execute payments, record banking transactions, reconcile bank balances and coordinate statutory requirements with the bank. <br>-Roles & Responsibilities<br>Define payment execution banks and funds receipts together with the Treasury Operations Manager for the different projects or departments. Develop banks payment plan for vendors payments, to be approved by the Treasury Operations Manager. Execute approved suppliers’ payments via internet banking/manual forms. Obtain payment receipts and circulate them internally or to vendors when needed. Handle the LGs and LCs applications with banks and stakeholders. Ensure sufficient funds availability for loan installments due payment & interest charges. Review installments and interest on bank statements versus treasury reports. Update loan reports based on statements actual figures and circulate monthly updated reports. Request/download bank account statements from banks/banking portals. Perform bank reconciliations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete financial close cycle for assigned entities in middle east, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting in a multi-currency and multi-regulatory environment. You will work collaboratively with global stakeholders, maintain robust financial controls, and support cross-border statutory, tax, and audit requirements. Managing the process of invoicing as per the e-invoicing regulations in the Middle East in addition to ensuring invoices are integrated with the Tax authorities in Middle East as part of the local tax requirements. Prepare and maintain weekly cash flow forecasts for the Middle East entities, providing accurate reporting to the Global Treasury function to support liquidity planning and funding requirements. Oversee intercompany accounting activities, ensuring timely issuance and booking of intercompany invoices and regularly reconciliation of intercompany balances. <br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Fully qualified professional accountant with ACCA, ACA, CIMA (CGMA), or equivalent certification Minimum 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in international accounting or a shared service finance environment Demonstrated experience managing overseas entities and operating in multi-entity, cross-border accounting environments Strong working knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP frameworks, with the ability to apply them accurately across multiple jurisdictions Proven experience with VAT/GST compliance and reporting across Middle East.
