Oversee daily on-water operations, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and operational standards. Deliver engaging, safe, and educational sessions for guests of all skill levels. Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to instructional staff. Support the Watersports Centre Manager in achieving operational goals and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction. Ensure that all activities are aligned with WAMA’s service excellence and environmental sustainability standards. Customer Experience Deliver world-class guest interactions, ensuring every experience exceeds expectations. Manage customer feedback effectively, addressing concerns and ensuring continuous service improvement. Represent WAMA as a brand ambassador, promoting the organization’s values and commitment to marine conservation. Health, Safety & Environment Implement and enforce H&S procedures and standard operating practices across all activities. Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols. Promote a culture of safety, responsibility, and respect for the environment. Policies, Systems, and Reports Follow all functional policies, standard operating procedures, and reporting guidelines to ensure operational consistency and control. Assist in preparing timely and accurate operational and safety reports as required by management. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement improvements in operations, instruction quality, and customer service based on international best practices. Support innovation in programming and instructional delivery to enhance efficiency and guest engagement.<br>Job Requirements<br>Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5+ years of experience instructing a variety of watersports; Middle East experience preferred. RYA Senior Dinghy Instructor (or equivalent qualification). Certified Paddle Sports or SUP Instructor. Minimum RYA Powerboat Level 2 certification. Proven team leadership experience within a watersports or hospitality setting. Demonstrated passion for watersports, guest experience, and environmental stewardship. Experience in designing and leading youth and adult watersports programs. Strong ability to develop and implement operational procedures and training guidelines.<br>Essential Skills Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Fluent in English; additional language skills, preferably Arabic, are a strong asset. High level of professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving ability. Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and energetic approach. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and international guests. Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
