<p>JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE</p><br><p> To plan, coordinate, and lead the execution of mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for offshore jack-up rig systems including drilling, marine, jacking, power, and utility systems while ensuring compliance with project</p><br><p> specifications, class requirements (ABS/DNV), regulatory standards, and safety procedures, to achieve safe, efficient, and timely delivery of a fully tested, certified, and operational rig ready for client acceptance and offshore deployment.</p><br><p>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES</p><br><p>1. Commissioning Planning & Execution </p><br><p>• Develop detailed commissioning procedures, test packs, checklists, and execution plans for all mechanical and marine systems. </p><br><p>• Review offshore rig mechanical designs, P&IDs, general arrangements (GA), system boundaries, and vendor documentation. </p><br><p>• Lead MC and commissioning phases from pre-commissioning through functional testing and final acceptance. </p><br><p>• Organize and execute FAT, HAT, and SAT for mechanical and drilling equipment. </p><br><p>• Ensure all activities comply with class certification and regulatory requirements (ABS/DNV/SOLAS/API). </p><br><p>2. Offshore Mechanical Systems Commissioning Lead commissioning for the following jack-up rig systems: A. Drilling Package </p><br><p>• Commission and verify operation of drilling equipment including Drawworks, top drive, rotary table, drives. Derrick. </p><br><p>• Execute testing and commissioning of Mud pumps, mud mixing, and mud handling systems. </p><br><p>• Oversee commissioning of solids control equipment including Shale shakers, mud-gas separator, degasser, centrifuges. </p><br><p>• Validate installation and functionality of BOP handling & well-control mechanical equipment. </p><br><p>• Test and certify Choke & kill manifold mechanical components. B. Marine & Jacking Systems </p><br><p>• Lead commissioning of Jacking units, rack-and-pinion systems, lubrication, and brake systems. </p><br><p>• Supervise commissioning of Leg handling, preload, and skidding systems. </p><br><p> • Commission Ballast, bilge, and seawater cooling systems. </p><br><p> • Verify operation of Fire main, sprinkler pumps, and deluge mechanical systems. </p><br><p> • Oversee commissioning of HVAC mechanical components. (AHUs, chillers, fans, dampers)</p><br><p>C. Power & Utility Systems </p><br><p> • Commission Diesel engines, generators, and mechanical auxiliaries. </p><br><p> • Execute commissioning of Air compressors, dryers, and pneumatic systems. </p><br><p> • Validate performance of Fuel oil, lube oil, cooling water, and freshwater systems. </p><br><p> • Lead testing and commissioning of Cranes, winches, and deck machinery. </p><br><p> • Verify mechanical integrity of emergency and safety systems 3. Interface Management & Coordination </p><br><p> • Act as the key interface between construction, engineering, electrical, instrumentation, marine, and drilling disciplines. </p><br><p> • Coordinate activities with OEM vendor representatives during installation, testing, and troubleshooting. </p><br><p> • Participate in commissioning meetings, progress reporting, and HSE briefings.</p><br><p> • Support integration testing between marine, drilling, and jacking systems. </p><br><p> 4. Safety, Regulatory & Class Compliance </p><br><p> • Implement offshore safety standards (PTW, JSA, SIMOPS, LOTO). </p><br><p> • Ensure all commissioning activities follow class rules (ABS, DNV) and international standards (API, IMO, SOLAS). </p><br><p> • Lead punch list creation, categorization, and closure for mechanical systems. </p><br><p> • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, and system readiness reviews. Ensure documentation aligns with project turnover requirements and offshore audit expectations. </p><br><p> 5. Troubleshooting & Technical Support </p><br><p> • Resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and rotating equipment issues during commissioning. </p><br><p> • Identify design or installation deviations and propose corrective actions. </p><br><p> • Support performance testing and initial rig startup offshore or at shipyard. </p><br><p> • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and commissioning technicians. </p><br><p> 6. Handover & Completion </p><br><p> • Ensure all MC and commissioning documentation is complete and accurate. </p><br><p>• Prepare turnover dossiers for mechanical systems (ITRs, test reports, redlines). </p><br><p>• Support final acceptance tests and assist the rig crew during start-up and first well operations. </p><br><p>• Deliver a fully commissioned jack-up rig ready for offshore deployment.</p><br>

ABOUT THE ROLECordoba Gardens is seeking a Senior Landscape Engineer with proven experience in both landscape design and site execution for large-scale hospitality, commercial, and residential developments. The role combines design development, detailed drawings, material and plant selection, quantity take-offs, site supervision, quality inspections, multidisciplinary coordination, and handover. Candidates must demonstrate their personal contribution to both design and construction. Experience limited to routine garden maintenance does not meet the requirements of this role. SCOPE OF WORKSHardscape: paving, natural stone, porcelain, interlock, kerbs, walkways, plazas, steps, ramps, and external decking. Landscape structures and features: planters, pergolas, canopies, boundary walls, fences, gates, seating, and outdoor furniture. Softscape: trees, palms, shrubs, groundcovers, turf, planting soils, soil improvements, mulching, and plant establishment. Irrigation: drip and sprinkler systems, valves, controllers, filtration, and interfaces with pumps and water supplies. Site grading, surface drainage, planter drainage, and interfaces with waterproofing and underground services. Coordination of landscape lighting, signage, water features, and swimming pool interfaces where included in the project scope. DESIGN & TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop landscape concepts, layouts, and design proposals reflecting the project brief, site conditions, intended use, budget, and maintenance needs. Prepare coordinated hardscape and softscape drawings, setting-out plans, levels, sections, construction details, planting plans, schedules, and specifications. Select plants suited to local climate, soil, salinity, exposure, water availability, and long-term maintenance requirements. Develop irrigation layouts, zoning, and water demand calculations within demonstrated competence, coordinating specialist hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical requirements. Coordinate levels, slopes, drainage, accessibility, utilities, lighting, and landscape structures with the relevant disciplines. Prepare quantity take-offs, bills of quantities, material schedules, and technical comparisons of proposed alternatives. Review supplier and specialist subcontractor drawings, materials, samples, and technical data. Prepare RFIs and technical submissions, address consultant comments, and maintain drawing revisions and approval records. Identify elements requiring specialist structural or MEP design and obtain the necessary coordination and approvals before execution. Personally inspect paving, finishes, joints, interfaces, installation quality, and compliance with approved details and samples. Inspect plants at nurseries and upon delivery for approved species, sizes, condition, and root quality. Check planting soil preparation, planting methods, staking, protection, irrigation coverage, and establishment care. Inspect irrigation installation and follow up on specified pressure, leakage, flushing, and operational tests. Verify drainage and waterproofing interfaces and required inspections before covering completed work. Prepare inspection requests, attend consultant inspections, document defects and non-conformances, and verify corrective actions. Execute mock-ups and benchmark areas and maintain the approved quality standard throughout the works. Coordinate procurement, deliveries, storage, site resources, and installation sequences. Track quantities, productivity, progress, and material usage; prepare short-term plans and reports and address delays and rework. Manage snagging, handover, plant replacement, and establishment-period obligations within the contract scope. Direct safe working practices, brief workers on hazards, and monitor PPE, access, housekeeping, excavation, lifting, tools, chemicals, and heat exposure. Agricultural Engineering graduates are welcome if they demonstrate strong hardscape and softscape design and execution experience. Minimum 5 years of relevant landscape experience, including at least 3 years within Saudi Arabia. Demonstrated experience in both landscape design and hands-on site execution. The incumbent brings solid experience in HR practices, employee management, and Saudi Labour Law, ensuring all HR activities are executed in alignment with Group policies, service level agreements, and KSA regulatory requirements.<br><br>Duties & Responsibilities<br><br>Talent Acquisition & Recruitment<br><br>Serve as the primary HR point of contact for all businesses operating under the Ghobash brand in KSA, ensuring consistent and high-quality HR service delivery across all business units. Lead end-to-end recruitment assignments across multiple Ghobash Group business units in KSA, managing the full hiring lifecycle from requisition through to offer acceptance. Establish recruitment requirements through close collaboration with Line Managers and the Group Recruitment Manager. Create and refine Job Descriptions as required to support hiring activities and role clarity. Build applicant pipelines by researching and posting on relevant job portals and professional networks. Screen, interview, and evaluate applicants using a consistent and structured competency-based framework. Arrange and coordinate management interviews for shortlisted candidates. Adhere to Group recruitment policies and procedures at all times. Build and maintain a comprehensive database of KSA national talent.<br><br>Nationalization & Saudization Quota Management<br><br>Take full ownership of Saudization strategy, nationalization targets, and visa quota management for all GBS and Ghobash Group business units within KSA. Manage all Saudization portals, including Qiwa and Nitaqat, ensuring the company maintains the required Nitaqat colour band at all times. Work with senior management and the HR/PRO Department to ensure employee files and visa quotas are maintained and kept up to date. Develop manpower plans using workforce forecasting to ensure visa quota compliance with KSA Labour Law requirements. Collaborate with Line Managers on Saudization strategy and ongoing manpower planning. Ensure compliance with localization policies and nationalization targets across all business units. Monitor and report on Saudization metrics, escalating risks or compliance gaps to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.<br><br>Onboarding & Manpower Planning<br><br>Oversee employee onboarding to ensure a consistent and compliant experience aligned to Group standards. Conduct research and analysis to remain current on industry trends and best practices in onboarding and manpower planning. Liaise with Corporate HR and the General Manager to develop succession plans and retention strategies for key talent and critical positions. Liaise with Corporate HR and General Manager to develop and execute Learning & Development plans equipping individuals with the necessary skills. Formulate and implement performance improvement plans to address performance issues or facilitate exit from the organisation.<br><br>Performance Management<br><br>Define and set KPIs for employees that meet business needs, in collaboration with Line Managers. Develop Job Descriptions and conduct role mapping for grading and compensation benchmarking. Facilitate performance review cycles and provide coaching support to managers and employees.<br><br>Employee Relations<br><br>Ensure all employee requests are addressed within defined HR SLAs and in line with company policy. Respond to all employee queries clearly and in a timely manner. Monitor employee absence and leave applications, verifying causes for staff absences as required. Reinforce a culture of meritocracy, performance-focus, and diversity at all times. Ensure compliance with KSA Labour Law and Group policy throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Communicate and implement changes to HR policies and procedures effectively across all business units. Ensure the disciplinary procedure is correctly and consistently applied.<br><br>Business Partnering<br><br>Act as a trusted business partner, advisor, and coach to General Managers and senior line management across all Ghobash Group businesses in KSA. Consult and support Group HR community members on local HR matters, ensuring a joined-up approach. Measure employee engagement across business units and drive initiatives to improve it. Act as a change agent and facilitate organisational transitions effectively. Communicate with senior leaders to present new ideas and propose solutions, factoring in budget constraints and company culture.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Education<br><br>Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Management.<br><br>Experience<br><br>Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience. Demonstrable knowledge of Saudi Labour Law and Saudization requirements. Proven recruitment experience across multiple roles and levels.5+ years in an HRBP or HR generalist role supporting multiple business units. Experience within a diversified group or conglomerate operating in KSA.
