The successful candidate will support the Delivery Partner by managing BIM workflows, coordinating engineering models, ensuring compliance with project BIM requirements, and facilitating effective collaboration between multiple disciplines including Architecture, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, ICT, Airfield Systems, AGL, Utilities, Roads, Pavements, and Airport Specialist Systems. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for ICT systems supporting passenger terminals, concourses, cargo facilities, airfield operational areas, airport support buildings, and critical infrastructure facilities. The ICT Lead Engineer will oversee the review and coordination of airport technology systems including structured cabling systems, data networks, wireless networks, telecommunications, airport operational communication systems, data centers, cybersecurity interfaces, ELV systems integration, and smart airport technologies. If you’re interested in designing, creating, and testing the present and future of Airbus products across the globe, join our mission to connect the world.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Your working environment:</b></p><br><br><p>The Engineering Center in Mobile, Alabama houses hundreds of Airbus engineers who assist in the design and development of Airbus commercial aircraft cabins, including aftermarket upgrades, reconfigurations and services of all product types across the globe.</p><br><br><br><p><b>Your challenges:</b></p><br><br><ul><li><p>You will orchestrate all engineering activities linked to a cabin modification project from inception to delivery—monitoring schedule, cost, and risk.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Offer Phase: Partner with Sales to assess technical feasibility, define the scope of work, establish engineering assumptions, and estimate lead times/costs.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Architecture Phase: Lead Pre-Modification (Premod) analysis, manage configuration control, determine aircraft impacts, and draft Technical Requirement Specifications (TRS) and Long Lead Time Items (LLTI) lists.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Development Phase: Supervise 3D/2D pre-studies, 3D model integration, clash analysis, and the production of Cabin Definition/Installation drawings.
