This position will be responsible for protecting and maintaining the organization’s network infrastructure while leading security initiatives, developing policies and technical documentation, conducting risk assessments and supporting regulatory compliance.<br>Key responsibilities:• Design, implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and endpoint-protection solutions• Monitor network traffic, system logs and SIEM alerts for threats and anomalies• Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing, and coordinate remediation• Manage identity and access controls according to least-privilege principles• Investigate security incidents, perform root-cause analysis and develop mitigation strategies• Lead cybersecurity and infrastructure projects from initiation through completion• Define project scope, timelines, resources and deliverables• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and service providers• Maintain network diagrams, configurations and security-architecture documentation• Develop and update security policies, procedures and standards• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and recommend controls• Support internal and external audits and compliance reviews• Provide security guidance and awareness training to employees and business teams<br>Required qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field• Three to five years of hands-on network-security experience• At least one to two years of experience leading or coordinating IT or cybersecurity projects• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching and VPN technologies• Experience with firewalls such as Fortinet or Palo Alto• Experience with SIEM, network-access control and endpoint-protection platforms• Experience creating technical documentation and cybersecurity policies• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA or comparable compliance frameworks• Familiarity with AWS or Azure and cloud-security principles• Strong analytical, communication, documentation and project-coordination skills<br>Preferred qualifications:• CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security, Comp TIA Security+, PMP or an equivalent certification• Experience in healthcare, financial services or another regulated industry• Familiarity with zero-trust architecture and Dev Sec Ops practices• Experience performing risk analysis and threat modeling To apply, email your updated CV to contact@thebridgerecruitment.com with the subject line “Network Security Engineer Application.”Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
