The Research Technician will support the Interfacial Lab (i Lab) at KAUST by assisting with greenhouse and growth chamber operations, laboratory testing, and field trials related to biochar and soil amendment research. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in greenhouse operations, agricultural research, field trials, and soil/plant analysis. Experience with irrigation systems, greenhouse/growth chamber operations, and laboratory testing. Knowledge of biochar and soil amendment technologies is an advantage. Job Summary:A Cardiac Sonographer/ ECHO Technician must be able to do a full 2D Echo study views and measurements in adult patients. Also, maintain competence and excellence in echocardiography based on the evidence-based practice guided by American Society of Echocardiography and the My Clinic policies & procedures.<br>2. Primary Responsibilities:2.1. A Cardiac Sonographer must be able to do a full 2D Echo study views and measurements in Adult patients.2.2. The cardiac sonographer must be able to recognize abnormalities, form a preliminary set of differential diagnoses, and extend the scope of the examination to explore these possible pathologic conditions.2.3. Maintain competence and excellence in echocardiography based on the evidence based practice guided by American Society of Echocardiography and the My Clinic policies & procedures.2.4. The cardiac sonographer should be able to obtain pertinent clinical information from the patient, refer ring physician, and patient’s record, including cardiac related physical findings and pertinent laboratory data, and to apply the necessary sonographic techniques to obtain comprehensive and diagnostic echocardiographic information.2.5. The cardiac sonographer is required to have a detailed understanding of cardiac and thoracic anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, embryology, tomographic anatomy, and pathophysiology. This knowledge base is a prerequisite to the understanding of echocardiographic data and quantitation of derived parameters.2.6. Participate in task forces as assigned and complete work-related assignments on time regarding Cardiology department like census, typing and scanning of reports.2.7. Flexibility to work different shifts in different areas according to the work needs within the scope of Cardiology department in My Clinic.2.8. Maintain all time maximum safe environment for patient, family and staff by ensuring safe equipment’s, instruments and implement the infection control procedures & guidelines.2.9. Maintain professional working relationship with colleagues and other health care professionals and assure a work culture of respect and diversity that is reflective on the mission and vision of the organization. Also, Follow the rules and regulations installed by Human resources department of My Clinic.2.10. Receive and gives pertinent information to the concerned clinical team on the patient’s condition through shift report ( verbal & written according the standards of My Clinic on the assigned patients to assure continuity of care).2.11. Maintain confidentiality of information from unauthorized persons.2.12. Act as an advocate to protect and promote the patients' rights to autonomy, respect, privacy, dignity, culture and religious beliefs of the patient.2.13. Attend and participate in educational activities and participate in the orientation and on-going education for new echo tech/ cardiac sonographer staff.<br>3. Education / Professional Qualifications:3.1. Education Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Echo Cardiovascular technology, Radiology or Nursing degree with Echo cardiovascular Professional Certificate and experience.3.2. Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year. License: Licensed from Saudi Council for Health Specialists.
