POSITION SUMMARYThe Shift Supervisor oversees the control operations and the work performed by other control room positions. This role is responsible and accountable for the operation of all utility assets including; traditional Utility assets such as Power Plants, Transmission lines, Distribution, Substation, as well as non-utility behind the meter assets such as DERs and BESS. The Shift Supervisor directs electric system operations engineering by monitoring, planning, analysing, directing, and executing 24/7 grid operations. Directly responsible for managing Company generation and transmissionoperations functions to maintain safe and reliable electric service to prevent power outages. Monitors multiple switching and distribution operations centres showing operating conditions of lines and equipment throughout the system and adjusts or directs workers to make adjustments as conditions warrant. Takes responsibility for substation operations and other field personnel to de-energize malfunctioning circuits oradjust switches to ensure safety of all crews and the public as well as ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems. Ensures the stability and reliability of the electrical grid. The Project is the Conversion of Qurayyah Open Cycle Power Plant to Combined Cycle Power Plant. The open cycle power plant is in operation. The scope of work comprises amongst others the site supervision with a strong team of management staff, various discipline engineers, quality control staff and local inspectors. Tthe Company works in a joint venture with Saudconsult as local partner.</p><p>The CCPP will consist of 5 units; it is designed in a 3+1 configuration, with 15 GE Frame 7FA gas turbines. The envisaged final generation capacity will be approximately 3.2 GWel. The engineering phase for the steam part of the CCPP is currently in progress. Contract duration is approximately 2.5 years.</p><p>The Contractor is the Consortium of Arabian BEMCO and DOOSAN Heavy Industries. Due to the specific requirements in Saudi Arabia the contract (local work contract) will be made between their branch office in Dammam and the Freelance Employee.</p><p>Salary will be made in Saudi Riyals. Additionally to the monthly salary accommodation in a camp (300m distance to the site office) and transportation (personal vehicle incl. insurance) on site will be provided free of charge. Also the canteen on site may be used. The contract foresees six weeks of vacation per year, which can be taken in four portions of two weeks maximum duration. <p>We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electronics Technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining electronic systems and industrial control equipment.
