This role requires strong expertise in Fortinet Forti Gate administration, enterprise networking, infrastructure management, and end-user support, while serving as the technical escalation point for complex infrastructure and security-related issues.<br> Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain Fortinet Forti Gate firewalls, including Firewall Policies, NAT, VPN, High Availability (HA), and SD-WAN. Manage network security technologies such as IPS, Web Filtering, Application Control, SSL Inspection, and bandwidth optimization. Monitor firewall performance, internet utilization, and network health while ensuring maximum availability and security. Administer and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers, wireless networks, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and WAN connectivity. Configure and maintain site-to-site and remote access VPN solutions. Support servers, virtualization, backup infrastructure, Active Directory / Entra ID, and endpoint security. Provide advanced technical support and act as the escalation point for complex IT infrastructure issues. Support new site deployments, standardize infrastructure across locations, and coordinate with ISPs and technology vendors. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and maintain infrastructure documentation. Mentor junior IT team members and contribute to infrastructure improvement initiatives and IT projects.<br>Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Support. At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Fortinet Forti Gate in a multi-site environment. Strong experience with Firewall Administration, VPNs, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, VLANs, Routing, Switching, DNS, DHCP, and network security. Experience supporting distributed sites, industrial environments, or manufacturing operations is preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.<br>Preferred Qualification Fortinet NSE 4 (required or strongly preferred); NSE 5/7 is a plus. Experience with Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, Forti AP, and SD-WAN. Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM tools. <p><strong>Shift Supervision & Post Control</strong></p><ul><li>Lead assigned Security colleagues during the shift, ensuring correct deployment, punctuality, grooming, equipment readiness, and clear pre- and post-shift briefings.</li><li>Supervise daily Security operations across assigned posts, including Control Room, lobby, loading bay, back-of-house, colleague entrance, visitor access, VIP parking, guest floors, outdoor areas, and patrol zones.</li><li>Ensure essential company-issued equipment such as radio / communication device, torchlight, pocket mask, keys, passes, and first-aid items are available, controlled, and used properly.</li><li>Conduct regular checks on Security colleagues and posts to confirm vigilance, adherence to standards, and effective handover.</li></ul><p><strong>Access, Patrols & Guest Safety</strong></p><ul><li>Manage access points to ensure all colleagues, casual labour, vendors, contractors, suppliers, visitors, and vehicles enter through authorized channels.</li><li>Maintain vigilance at pass counters and support the Visitor Management System, contractor controls, vehicle checks, and delivery access procedures.</li><li>Perform roving safety and security patrols within and around the resort, including guest areas, heart-of-house, accommodation / service areas where applicable, and external resort surroundings.</li><li>Identify fire hazards, unsafe acts, suspicious behaviour, breaches of procedure, or maintenance risks and take immediate corrective or escalation action.</li></ul><p><strong>Control Room, CCTV & Systems</strong></p><ul><li>Be in charge of the Hotel Security Control Room during the shift and ensure all official documents are handled accurately according to SOP.</li><li>Monitor CCTV coverage, alarms, access control, duress systems, fire-life-safety alerts, and security equipment, highlighting faults or unusual observations immediately.</li><li>Support preliminary CCTV review for investigation and training purposes in accordance with privacy and evidence-handling standards.</li><li>Coordinate with Engineering, IT, or relevant departments to report system faults, door lock issues, safe box concerns, and security equipment defects.</li></ul><p><strong>Emergency Response & Incident Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Respond to security, medical, fire, duress, lost child, crowd control, guest concern, suspicious activity, and other emergencies as quickly as possible.</li><li>Perform First Aid / CPR / AED where trained and required, and coordinate with internal and external emergency responders.</li><li>Gather facts, document incidents, prepare end-of-shift reports, complete accident / incident forms, and maintain accurate logbook entries.</li><li>Handle lost and found reports, key and pass inventory, safe box issues, door lock concerns, lift control, VIP movement support, crowd control, and ushering duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Team Support & Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Coach Security Officers and CCTV colleagues on post standards, report writing, guest interaction, emergency procedures, and professional conduct.</li><li>Ensure all activities comply with hotel policies, security protocols, confidentiality standards, Saudi regulations, and brand expectations.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma required; diploma or certificate in Security, Hospitality, Safety, or Emergency Management preferred.</li><li>Minimum 2-3 years in hotel security operations, including at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity; luxury resort or pre-opening experience preferred.</li><li>Good English required; Arabic preferred.</li><li>CCTV monitoring, access control, visitor management, key control, incident reports, logbooks, fire-life-safety systems, Microsoft Office, and radio communication.</li><li>Security license or certification as required locally; first aid / CPR / AED and basic fire safety training preferred.</li><li>Observant, disciplined, composed, firm yet polite, service-minded, confidential, physically fit for patrols, and able to work rotating shifts.</li></ul>
