POSITION SUMMARYThis position will be part of NGHC (Neom Green Hydrogen Company) Operations based in Neom The Principal Process Safety Engineer is the technical cornerstone to the NGHC safety culture, where safety is in our DNA. This role manages the distinct high pressure and extreme flammability hazards of green hydrogen and the toxicity hazards of green ammonia among the process operating complexities of the plant. The role is responsible to lead all safety initiatives relative to the industrial processes on behalf of NGHC, facilitating the application of engineering principles for the design, construction, operation and maintenance on the NEOM Green Hydrogen Company, with the objective to develop, implement and maintain the Process Safety Management System for the company. The incumbent shall support all interface activities between all project contractors and NGHC as needed to support all Process Safety deliverables. NATURE & SCOPE<br>Lead and provide process safety services during the design and construction of all NEOM Green Hydrogen Company projects, including the remaining design and construction of the plant currently underway, ensuring that all related activities meet legal requirements and comply with project and industry safety standards. As part of this reform, UN Resident Coordinator Offices (UN RCO), under the leadership of an empowered and independent UN Resident Coordinator, support countries in the achievement of their development priorities and the attainment of the SDGs. In its Resolution A/RES/72/279, the United Nations General Assembly endorsed the transformation of the Development Operations Coordination Office (DCO) as a stand-alone coordination office within the United Nations Secretariat. DCO exercises managerial and oversight functions of the resident coordinator system under the oversight of the Chair of United Nations Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG). In 2026, DCO undertook a recalibration to ensure the RC system remains optimally configured to support the acceleration of the 2030 Agenda and embodies the UN 2.0 shift- anchored in data, digital, innovation, behavioral science, strategic foresight, and a mission driven organizational culture.
