DESCRIPTION:Position Summary The QA Tester will be responsible for functional, integration, regression, upgrade, and end-to-end testing of LM/LC Upgrade and Retail functionality. The role will focus on validating upgraded functionality, identifying regression impacts, supporting business users, and providing post-live support. The position requires strong knowledge of the complete lending product lifecycle and awareness of applicable banking regulations and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities Review upgrade requirements, functional specifications, change requests, and business processes. Analyze existing and upgraded functionality to identify impacted areas. Develop and execute test scenarios and test cases for LM/LC Upgrade and Retail functionality. Perform functional, integration, regression, system, upgrade, and end-to-end testing. Validate upgraded functionality against approved requirements and expected business behavior. Verify that existing functionality continues to operate correctly following the upgrade. Perform comparative testing between current and upgraded functionality where required. Validate business rules, workflows, calculations, validations, limits, approvals, and transaction processing. Verify interfaces and data exchange between LM/LC, Retail, and integrated systems. Perform defect retesting and targeted regression testing. Support data validation and reconciliation activities associated with upgrade testing. Provide business support to business users and stakeholders for LM/LC and Retail-related functional queries and issues. Provide post-live/production support following system upgrades and releases, including production issue analysis, functional validation, impact assessment, and coordination with technical teams. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the complete lifecycle of lending products, including origination, assessment, approval, disbursement, servicing, repayment, restructuring, settlement, and closure. Understand the relationship between lending products, customer information, accounts, collateral/security, limits, pricing, interest, fees, repayment schedules, and related banking processes. Maintain awareness of applicable banking regulations, compliance requirements, internal policies, and regulatory controls affecting lending and Retail banking processes. Ensure regulatory and compliance-related requirements are considered in test scenarios and validation activities. Analyze production issues and determine potential functional, configuration, data, integration, or business-rule impacts. Support root-cause analysis and identify potential regression and upgrade impacts. Identify upgrade-specific risks, functional gaps, business impacts, and regression areas. Log, track, and manage defects through the agreed defect lifecycle. Participate in defect triage and provide functional/business analysis to support resolution. Maintain test cases, execution results, evidence, defect records, and traceability. Support business and UAT teams during upgrade, Retail, and post-live validation activities. Provide daily testing progress, defect status, business-support updates, and post-live issue status. Support release readiness and post-production validation activities.
