These items are held in storage and then distributed, along with prepackaged, pre sterilized supplies, using a distribution cart to the various patient care areas of the hospital including the operating rooms and dental clinics.</p><br><br>Essential Responsibilities and Duties<p>1. Receives contaminated devices, instruments and equipment in the decontamination area and reduces the bio-burden, being sure to always don personal protective equipment. <p>As Genetic Lab Specialist, he/she will be responsible for performing and supervising diagnostic genetic testing, ensuring quality assurance, supporting laboratory development, and assisting in the interpretation and reporting of genetic results in accordance with hospital policies and national/international standards.</p><p>Strategic Roles &amp; Responsibilities .
