Day-to-day tasks include identifying and qualifying leads, meeting with clients and consultants, presenting fire protection products and services, and preparing technical and commercial proposals. The role involves collaborating with engineering teams to translate client requirements into compliant solutions, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and ensuring that designs align with applicable codes and standards. The Fire Sales Engineer will maintain strong customer relationships, respond to inquiries, participate in site visits and technical meetings, and support tender submissions and contract negotiations. The position also includes maintaining accurate sales forecasts, reporting market insights, and contributing to continuous improvement of sales processes and client service.<br>Qualifications<br> Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills, including the ability to understand technical fire protection solutions and present them effectively to clients. Candidates should possess Sales and Customer Service skills to build relationships, manage client expectations, and support long-term partnerships. Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to assist clients with solution selection, troubleshooting, and coordination with engineering teams. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in engineering (fire, mechanical, civil, or related field) or an equivalent technical discipline. Experience in fire protection systems, life safety engineering, or building services within the Gulf region is highly beneficial. Knowledge of NFPA standards, IBC, IFC, and local fire authority requirements in Saudi Arabia is an advantage. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and travel to client sites and project locations as required.
