We are seeking a self-starter who can quickly familiarize themselves with this fast-paced environment, build relationships/trust with cross-functional teams, and assume ownership within the program which will require understanding of complex business/Tech/Ops processes at Amazon and our partners and devising an optimal engagement model. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Regional Delegation for GCC countries has an opening for a position of: Air Operations Officer (Based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) with possible travels both internally and externally KSA nationals only<br>The ICRC is a neutral, independent and impartial humanitarian organisation that seeks to protect and assist people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence. It is present in more than 80 countries. The ICRC’s regional delegation in Kuwait covers the GCC countries, where it promotes international humanitarian law, raises awareness of humanitarian issues, and handles matters arising from armed conflicts in the region. <br>PURPOSE <br>Air Operations Officer is responsible for coordinating ground operations in Jeddah to ensure proper transport of passengers, luggage, cargo and diplomatic pouch. AOO2 is responsible for the Welcome services in Jeddah for passengers (customs processes, transit, hotel, ground transportation).<br>RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:<br>Air Operations Coordinate passenger, baggage, cargo, and diplomatic pouch movements. Support passenger check-in, boarding, and provide travel briefings. Supervise aircraft ground operations, including loading/unloading and refueling. Assist flight crews with flight planning and weather information. Monitor aircraft movements and communicate schedules, departures, arrivals, and operational updates. Ensure weight and balance documentation is received and filed. <br>Flight Clearances & Coordination Obtain flight, security, and landing clearances and permits. Liaise with airport authorities, ground handlers, fuel providers, customs, immigration, and security authorities. Monitor changes in aviation regulations and airport operating procedures. Distribute flight schedules to relevant authorities. <br>Safety & Security Ensure compliance with Air Ops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Monitor the security situation and promptly report risks or operational issues. Report safety, compliance, and operational concerns to Air Ops management. Coordinate closely with security focal points and relevant stakeholders. <br>Welcome & Administrative Support Coordinate visas, travel documentation, transport, and accommodation for staff. Arrange airport pickups, hotel bookings, and staff residences. Liaise with ministries, consulates, and immigration authorities. Coordinate staff travel plans with Welcome and Air Ops teams. Resolve accommodation and travel-related issues.<br>Certifications/Education Required<br>Education degree in relevant fields (e.g., logistics or aviation) Fluent command of English and Arabic both written and spoken. Position Purpose<br>The HPC Receptionist – First Team Players Area is responsible for managing the reception area within the High Performance Center designated for First Team players, coaching staff, technical staff, medical team and authorized visitors.<br>The role requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and service quality due to the sensitive and high-profile nature of the First Team environment. It also supports smooth access coordination, visitor handling, internal communication and daily operational requirements related to the First Team area.<br>2. Key Responsibilities<br>A. HPC Reception Operations<br> Manage the HPC reception area designated for First Team players and authorized personnel.<br> Welcome and assist First Team players, coaches, technical staff, medical staff, VIP guests, consultants and authorized visitors in a professional manner.<br> Maintain a professional, organized and confidential reception environment suitable for First Team players.<br> Provide basic guidance to authorized visitors and direct them to the correct meeting room, office, training area or contact person.<br> Support day-to-day reception and operational requirements within the First Team players area.<br> Perform any additional duties assigned by the Operations Department.<br>B. First Team Access Coordination<br> Coordinate access to the First Team players area in line with club procedures and authorization requirements.<br> Work closely with Security and Operations to ensure only authorized personnel are granted access to the HPC area.<br> Maintain accurate visitor logs and access records for First Team players.<br> Confirm visitor information with the relevant internal contact before coordinating access.<br> Report access issues, unauthorized movement, visitor concerns or operational incidents immediately.<br> Support access arrangements for First Team meetings, training sessions, VIP visits, official visits and matchday requirements.<br>C. Communication and Stakeholder Support<br> Communicate effectively in English with international players, coaches, consultants, guests and stakeholders.<br> Handle inquiries professionally and escalate sensitive matters to the direct supervisor when required.<br> Support coordination related to player movement, training schedules, visitor arrangements and guest arrivals.<br> Coordinate with First Team Operations, coaching staff, medical team, hospitality, facility management and security teams when required.<br> Maintain professional communication and a service-focused approach with all authorized facility users.<br>D.
