Working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations, the Associate, Pricing helps ensure pricing structures are accurate, aligned with business objectives, and responsive to changing market conditions while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.</p><p><strong>Main Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Key Tasks</p><ul><li>Analyze carrier buy-rates and internal cost baselines to calculate profitable sell-rates.</li><li>Maintain and update regional and international freight tariff matrices.</li><li>Review baseline operational costs (fuel, toll, port fees, driver allocations) to ensure pricing accuracy.</li></ul><p>Tender &amp; RFQ Support</p><ul><li>Support the Freight Manager and Sales teams during formal tender processes, Request for Quotations (RFQs), and customer contract renewals.</li><li>Populate complex RFQ rate sheets and customer templates with precise pricing data.</li><li>Perform historical data analysis on lane volumes and past win/loss metrics to guide bidding strategies.</li><li>Ensure all quote submissions adhere to internal margin guidelines and deadlines.</li></ul><p>Margin Optimization &amp; Leakage Control</p><ul><li>Monitor the financial health of active lanes and accounts to maximize gross margins and prevent revenue leakage.</li><li>Conduct regular audits of quoted rates versus actual invoiced amounts to identify discrepancy trends.</li><li>Track and evaluate customer-specific contribution margins.</li><li>Flag underperforming lanes or unprofitable spot business to the Freight Manager for rate adjustments.</li></ul><p>Market Intelligence &amp; Carrier Benchmarking</p><ul><li>Gather and organize market intelligence regarding competitor pricing, capacity constraints, and freight market trends.</li><li>Perform benchmarking exercises against market standard indexes and competitor rates.</li><li>Maintain active communication channels with procurement teams to track shifting carrier rates.</li><li>Assist in building predictive pricing models based on seasonal market fluctuations.</li></ul><p>Reporting &amp; Governance</p><ul><li>Maintain data integrity across internal systems (ERP/TMS) and generate periodic commercial performance reports.</li><li>Track operational pricing KPIs including Quote Turnaround Time, Hit Rate (Win/Loss Ratio), and Gross Margin per Lane.</li><li>Prepare monthly commercial pricing reviews and variance presentations for the Freight Manager.</li><li>Ensure all finalized tariffs and approved spot rates are accurately logged into the ERP system.</li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor s in Accounting or above (Preferred)</li><li><strong>Certification:</strong> CMA / CIMA / CPA (Preferred)</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum 2 Years Maximum 5 Years (Required)</li><li><strong>Languages:</strong> English Fluent (Preferred), Arabic Elementary (Required)</li></ul><p></p></section>
