Job Purpose The Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the technical and commercial procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for construction and hospitality projects. The role ensures that procurement activities are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and contractual requirements. The position works closely with Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, QA/QC, HSE, Finance, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and Project Management teams to ensure timely availability of materials and services and minimize procurement-related delays and risks. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute procurement plans in line with project requirements, approved schedules, budgets, and material submittal schedules. Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, material requisitions, and scope of work to identify procurement requirements. Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and inquiries to approved suppliers and subcontractors. Identify, evaluate, and prequalify potential suppliers based on technical capability, quality, delivery performance, capacity, and commercial competitiveness. Obtain and analyze supplier quotations and prepare technical and commercial bid comparisons.
