We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Specialist to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure across the head office and multiple plant/site locations. It is one of the biggest civil engineering projects in modern times—and it's getting bigger. Bechtel has managed the Jubail project, located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, since it began in the mid-1970s.<br><br>Saudi Arabian Bechtel Company (SABCO) serves as the Management Services Contractor (MSC), or “owner’s representative” for our client, the Royal Commission (RC). We are the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) managers, managing design submissions from local architect/engineering (AE) firms, and overseeing the actual construction work being performed by local contractors and sub-contractors in Jubail and Ras Al-Khair Industrial Cities. In June 2026, Bechtel’s contract with the Royal Commission was renewed for another 5 years with work focusing on building new residential communities, iconic buildings/bridges, major site preparation, commercial buildings, mosques, schools, hospitals, sports facilities, clinics, universities, utility services and infrastructure (electrical sub-stations, lift stations), roads and highways, port and pipeline expansions, and more.<br><br>Job Summary<br><br>In this role, you will conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates for a project’s civil/structural aspects. You will lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural components and processes. The focus of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering engineer role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.<br><br>Shift Pattern: This role includes working in non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends<br><br>Key job responsibilities<br><br>Put health & safety best practices first in all work carried out ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.<br><br>To develop Preventive and predictive maintenance of FC assets including material handling and automation systems<br><br>To be experienced in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting any of the following: relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, mechanical components (rolls, bearing, belts)<br><br>To act as an ambassador for safety within the team and to promote safe working across the site<br><br>Manage day to day engineering and soft services including housekeeping and upkeep of premises<br><br>To Manage EHS and statuary compliance of FC including waste management and hazardous waste management as per bylaws, timely renewal of licenses<br><br>To develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization<br><br>Ability to provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance<br><br>Ability to prioritize and manage resources under high pressure<br><br>Oversees day-to-day facility operations, including conveyor system maintenance, supervises maintenance work and sub-contractors, Ensure implementation of facility systems checks through computerized maintenance management system.
