<span>Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Reports To: Project Director / Engineering Manager Position Summary The Survey Monitoring Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all survey and structural monitoring activities for the Riyadh Metro Project.<br> The role ensures accurate monitoring of tunnels, stations, viaducts, depots, adjacent structures, utilities, and critical infrastructure during construction and operational phases.<br> The position oversees monitoring teams, manages survey data, ensures compliance with project specifications and international standards, and provides technical leadership to support safe and efficient project delivery.<br> Key Responsibilities Survey & Monitoring Management • Develop and implement survey and structural monitoring strategies, procedures, and methodologies for the project.<br> • Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control networks across project corridors.<br> • Manage all geodetic, topographic, deformation, settlement, and structural monitoring activities.<br> • Ensure accurate installation, commissioning, and maintenance of monitoring instruments and survey control points.<br> • Oversee monitoring of tunnels, stations, retaining walls, viaducts, bridges, track structures, adjacent buildings, roads, and utilities.<br> Technical Leadership • Lead a multidisciplinary team of survey engineers, monitoring engineers, surveyors, and technicians.<br> • Review and approve monitoring plans, survey methods, technical reports, and monitoring results.<br> • Ensure survey and monitoring activities comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, and international standards.<br> • Provide technical guidance on precision surveying techniques and deformation analysis.<br> Data Analysis & Reporting • Monitor and analyze movement, settlement, displacement, and structural behavior data.<br> • Evaluate monitoring trends and identify potential risks affecting project assets or third-party structures.<br> • Prepare and present monitoring reports, dashboards, and technical recommendations to project management and stakeholders.<br> • Establish alert levels and escalation procedures for abnormal movements or structural concerns.<br> Stakeholder Coordination • Coordinate with construction, design, geotechnical, tunneling, civil, and rail systems teams.<br> • Liaise with client representatives, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors regarding monitoring requirements and results.<br> • Support engineering investigations and provide survey data for design verification and construction validation.<br> Quality, Safety & Compliance • Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and safety regulations.<br> • Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for all survey and monitoring activities.<br> • Conduct audits and inspections to verify accuracy and reliability of survey data and monitoring systems.<br> • Maintain calibration records for all survey and monitoring instruments.<br> Technology & Systems • Manage advanced monitoring technologies including: - <p>Design and maintain enterprise security architecture aligned with business, technology, and compliance requirements. Define security standards, reference architectures, patterns, and guardrails for cloud, network, applications, identity, data, and infrastructure. Review solution designs and ensure security requirements are embedded from the early design stage. Conduct security architecture assessments for new systems, platforms, integrations, and transformation programs. Identify security risks, recommend controls, and support risk treatment plans. Work with infrastructure, cloud, application, IAM, SOC, GRC, and OT teams to ensure secure-by-design implementation. Translate business and technical requirements into practical security controls. Support implementation of Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, segmentation, least privilege, secure access, and secure monitoring models. Define security requirements for third-party integrations, APIs, remote access, cloud workloads, and critical systems. Support security governance by reviewing exceptions, deviations, and architecture waivers. Provide technical guidance to project teams during design, build, testing, and deployment phases. Ensure solutions comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and relevant standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, IEC 62443, and other applicable frameworks.
