Experience in home healthcare, primary care, or telemedicine is preferred. Proficiency in Health Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR). <p>Performs clinical duties as per his / her assigned clinical privileges. Develops a plan of care for patients using an evidence-based approach and following standards of care, and documents the plan of care in patients medical record. We're Hiring: Consultant – Nephrology Makkah Medical Center is seeking a Consultant in Nephrology to join a distinguished team providing comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for kidney disease and dialysis care.<br>Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney disease Oversee the dialysis unit (hemodialysis and peritoneal) and manage treatment plans Follow up pre- and post-kidney transplant patients in coordination with the relevant teams Participate in medical committees, quality improvement programs, and CME activities<br><br>Requirements:MBBS / MD from a recognized medical school Valid Consultant (Internal Medicine – Nephrology) classification and registration from SCFHSBoard certification in Internal Medicine plus an accredited Nephrology Fellowship Hands-on experience with hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and CRRTCompetence in vascular access assessment and temporary dialysis catheter insertion Experience with kidney biopsy and interpretation of biopsy results (an advantage) Experience managing pre- and post-transplant patients and immunosuppression protocols Valid BLS and ACLS certification Up-to-date knowledge of current treatment protocols and international guidelines (KDIGO) Ability to lead and develop a dialysis unit, including quality indicators and infection control Competent use of EMR systems and accurate clinical documentation Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage Eligibility to work in Saudi Arabia (transferable iqama for non-Saudi applicants)
