<p>Carry out all planned preventive maintenance activities, repairing and servicing all mechanical equipment and systems essential to drilling operations considering the safety of personnel, the environment, and equipment to maximize drilling operation efficiency.</p><p><strong>Roles &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Troubleshooting and Repairs:</strong> Collaborates with Senior Mechanics in identifying and resolving mechanical issues by conducting tests, inspections, and troubleshooting procedures. Promptly reports any equipment damage or faults to rig supervisors. Maintain rig equipment &amp; repair mechanical problems, faults and malfunctions in mechanical equipment and systems, utilizing diagnostic tools, equipment manuals and technical documentation to fix complex mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions to restore functionality and minimize downtime.</p><p><strong>Equipment Maintenance &amp; Operations:</strong> Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment as per the planned maintenance schedule, and/or as directed by Senior Mechanic. Perform the maintenance, repair and servicing of mechanical equipment on the rig, including engines, generators, pumps, compressors, cranes and hydraulic systems, to ensure optimal performance of the rig. Assist in Maintaining and repairing power plants and monitor power distribution ensure power is always available. Install new equipment as per regulatory and company standards including paying attention to MOC requirements. Utilize the Maintenance System for tracking, monitoring and managing the maintenance and performance of equipment within the rig.</p><p><strong>Materials &amp; Equipment:</strong> Maintain an adequate supply of spare parts, consumables and supplies to fulfil maintenance requirements and facilitate a safe and efficient operation.</p><p><strong>Rig Move:</strong> Performs related duties to prepare the rig for towing, ensure all mechanical equipment is correctly secured maintaining the integrity and reliability of the mechanical systems and equipment throughout prior, during and after the rig move.</p><p><strong>Housekeeping:</strong> Ensures that workshops and machinery spaces are clean and organized, free of hazards prior to &amp; upon completion of the work tasks, or repairs. <h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <p>Job Summary:</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose the mechanical problems of the cars in the service center.</li> <li>Preparing reports on technical defects of cars in stock.</li> <li>Repairing technical problems with cars in the service center.</li> <li>Securing the site and equipment and ensuring the safety of the facility, equipment and tools.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Diagnose mechanical problems and carry out required repairs to cars in the service center.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Inform the supervisor of the DTC, if any, and request opening business cards to repair or replace damaged parts.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>After the work is completed, the work card is handed over to the employee in charge in the workshop to enter the details of the tasks in the system before closing the work card to calculate the final costs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Register and report any additional defects or damages observed.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that the damaged parts are returned to the warehouse, the spare parts department, when the required work is carried out.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Keep all maintenance tools, special tools and other equipment in good condition and ensure they are stored in the correct storage areas.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Reducing the use of equipment during downtime in the workshop.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Securing the site, equipment and tools.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Work according to the standard times specified in accordance with the workshop system.
