<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> Our Generative AI products are only as good as the data behind them. This role owns that data layer from end to end: the pipelines that bring data in, the transformations that shape it, and the way it reaches retrieval systems, agents, and analytics. The work runs on AWS, and the aim is a single governed source that every consumer can rely on. We want someone who has already built data pipelines for AI systems, not only for reporting. Preparing data for an LLM or an agent brings its own work around chunking, embeddings, indexing, and keeping content current, and you have done it before. The team is small and spans several languages, so you will own your pipelines and help set the standards the rest of us follow. WHAT YOU WILL DO Build and run the batch and streaming pipelines that move data from source systems into the lake and through to the warehouse, owning the layers in between from raw to curated, along with their schema, quality, and lineage. Build the data layer behind retrieval: source connectors, document parsing, chunking, embedding generation, and vector indexing, including re-embedding when content changes. Model curated, query-ready datasets and metrics so AI and analytics consumers work from one definition instead of each rebuilding the logic. Add quality checks, validation, and monitoring so problems surface before they reach a model or a user. Apply access control where it belongs: row and column level rules, PII handling, and entitlement-aware datasets, enforced as close to query time as the stack allows. Work with the platform and DevOps engineers to expose data and retrieval as documented, dependable services. Keep storage, compute, and query costs in check, with particular attention to the cost of embedding and vector workloads Review code, write the documentation, and help shape how the team builds its data layer. Eight or more years in data engineering overall. That includes hands-on work building data for AI or ML systems such as retrieval, embeddings, or feature data, which can be a more recent part of your background. Strong SQL and strong Python, including PySpark or similar distributed processing. Production experience across the AWS data stack: S3 for the lake, Glue for ETL and the Data Catalog, Athena for serverless query, and Redshift as the warehouse. Hands-on experience with a layered data architecture, whether you call it medallion (bronze, silver, gold), a data lake feeding a warehouse, or a lakehouse, including building the transformation stages that move data from raw to curated. <h2 class="h5">وصف الوظيفة</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> منتجات الذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي لدينا تقيس بجودة البيانات وراءها فقط. هذا الدور يملك طبقة البيانات تلك من طرف إلى طرف: خطوط الأنابيب التي تجلب البيانات، والتحويلات التي تشكلها، والطريقة التي تصل بها إلى أنظمة الاسترجاع، والوكلاء، والتحليلات. العمل يعمل على AWS، والهدف هو مصدر واحد مُدار يمكن لكل مستهلك الاعتماد عليه. نريد شخصاً بنى خطوط بيانات لنظم الذكاء الاصطناعي من قبل، ليس فقط للتقارير. تجهيز البيانات لـ LLM أو وكيل يجلب العمل الخاص به حول التقسيم، والتضمين، والفهرسة، مع إبقاء المحتوى محدثاً، وقد قمت به من قبل. الفريق صغير ويمتد عبر عدة لغات، لذا ستتحمل ملكية خطوط البيانات الخاصة بك وتساعد في وضع المعايير التي نتبعها نحن البقية. ما الذي ستفعله: بناء وتشغيل خطوط البيانات الدفعيّة والتدفقيّة التي تنقل البيانات من أنظمة المصدر إلى البحيرة ومن ثم إلى المستودع، مع امتلاك الطبقات الوسطى من الخام إلى المُحكَّم، جنباً إلى جنب مع مخططها وجودتها ونسبها. بناء طبقة البيانات خلف الاسترجاع: موصلات المصدر، تحليل المستند، التقسيم، إنشاء التضمين، والفهرسة الشعاعية، بما في ذلك إعادة التضمين عند تغيّر المحتوى. نمذجة مجموعات البيانات المُحكَّمة القابلة للاستعلام والمؤشرات بحيث يعمل مستهلكو الذكاء الاصطناعي والتحليلات من تعريف واحد بدلاً من إعادة بناء المنطق في كل مرة. إضافة فحص الجودة والتحقق والمراقبة حتى تظهر المشكلات قبل وصولها إلى النموذج أو المستخدم. تطبيق ضوابط الوصول حيث يوجد: قواعد عند مستوى الصف والعمود، التعامل مع PII، ومجموعات البيانات المعتمدة على الأذونات، مطبقة أقرب ما يمكن إلى وقت الاستعلام كما تسمح به الطبقة. العمل مع مهندسي المنصة وDevOps لتعريض البيانات والاسترجاع كخدمات موثوقة ومُوثقة. الحفاظ على التكاليف التخزينية والحسابية والاستعلامية ضمن الحدود، مع اهتمام خاص بتكاليف التضمين وأحمال العمل الشعاعية مراجعة الكود، كتابة التوثيق، والمساعدة في تشكيل كيف يبني الفريق طبقة البيانات لديه. ثمانية أعوام أو أكثر في هندسة البيانات بشكل عام. وهذا يشمل العمل التطبيقي لبناء البيانات لأنظمة AI أو ML مثل الاسترجاع، التضمين، أو بيانات الميزة، والتي قد تكون جزءاً أحدث من خبرتك. About the Role We are looking for an experienced OT / ICS Cybersecurity professional who has worked directly in industrial plants and production environments. Supervision Supervises the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures. Job Specific Accountabilities Ensures implementation of company’s policies, procedures, work ethics, applicable standards like ISO 9000, OHSAS 18000, safety policies and procedures in all aspects of the Safety, Environment ,Fire & Security function. Liaises with local security forces and maintain a level of contact, which ensures that the Company receives the highest level of assistance and information. Develops Company emergency and disaster control plans to ensure that a program is available during such emergencies. Carries out investigations into all accidents, significant incidents and fires and determine the causes. Recommend action to prevent recurrence. Carries out investigation of all significant damage to Company property, determine the cause and recommend action to prevent recurrence. Ensures that regular and effective inspection tours are made by Safety personnel daily and that corrective action is taken where necessary to fire and safety installations or procedures. Ensures that all safety and firefighting equipment is regularly inspected and maintained and that the volunteer fire brigade is properly manned and trained. Advises the Company on the use, care and control of safety equipment and personal protective equipment to minimise costs and maximise safe working. Reporting on the performance of the EHS management system to top management. People Development Conducts coaching and mentoring to subordinates to ensure continuous learning process and skills development. Reports Generates timely and accurate statements and reports of Safety, and Health Department to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards.
