<p>Job Description Summary</p><p>The Cardiac Care Nurse 3 provides advanced.-level nursing care in the assigned nursing unit and is responsible for supporting operational processes .- which includes but is not limited to maintaining high standards of patient care, assisting in resolving complex clinical issues, mentoring intermediate.-level nurses and collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team .- in order to ensure efficient care delivery.</p><p><br></p><p>Strategic Roles & Responsibilities</p><p>Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving the assigned units nursing practices</p><p>Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency</p><p>Pursue high staff engagement</p><p>Obtain high patient experience</p><p>Achieve and sustain highquality of care and patient safety</p><p>Support the empowerment of nurses through the enculturation of the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model</p><p><br></p><p>Operational Roles & Responsibilities</p><p>Deliverhighquality nursing care services focusing on complex cases</p><p>Assist in managing workflow ensuring proper resource utilization and providing mentorship to junior nurses</p><p>Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participates in the evaluation of patient outcomes</p><p>Achieve andor Maintain the mandated set of activities for level 3 which is a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12month cycle as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program</p><p>Utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement evaluate and document patient care from admission through discharge specific to the patients age</p><p>Provide nursing care patientfamily education consistent with the plan of care and needs of the patients with respect for the patients privacy dignity personal preference and culture demonstrating acceptance caring and empathy utilizing appropriate resources when applicable</p><p>Precept new hires and trainees during the probation training period and participates in making recommendations regarding progress and training needs</p><p>Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations by utilizing clinical skills critical thinking and evidencebased practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes</p><p>Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy patient safety and comfort while maintaining a safe clean and organized environment for the patient familyvisitors and staff</p><p>Administer Chemotherapy and Biotherapy medications following the completion of the chemotherapy competency and requirements</p><p>Utilize standard guidelines and policy to assess develop and implement nursing care plan and evaluate the outcome for Palliative Care and Cellular Therapy patients</p><p>Minimum Education Required</p><p>3 years International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing</p><p>Professional Certifications Required</p><p>Current licensure as a professional registered nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)</p><p>Years of Experience</p><p>Minimum 4 years of Nursing Experience including 2 years in Cardiac Care or related field.</p><p>Languages</p><p>English:Fully Proficient ; Arabic:Preferred</p><p>Functional Competencies</p><p>Infection Control</p><p>Medication Management</p><p>Patient Documentation</p><p>Core Competencies</p><p>Excellence</p><p>Integrity</p><p>Accountability</p><p>Cybersecurity</p><p>Person-Centered Care</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><br></li></ul>
