<p><b>Job Description</b> Overview The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and monitoring the construction of bridge and infrastructure works on the Projects. The role will ensure that all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. Your role Construction Supervision & Execution Supervise day-to-day bridge and infrastructure construction activities. Quality Assurance & Control Ensure all works comply with project quality requirements and applicable standards. Review inspection requests and support material approvals. Coordinate inspections with consultants, client representatives, and quality teams. Verify completed works prior to inspections and handover. Review and support the preparation of as-built records and documentation. Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders. Attend progress review meetings and technical coordination meetings. Review site issues and provide practical engineering solutions. Ensure timely resolution of technical queries and design-related issues. Support the engineering team in implementing design revisions and approved changes. Project Planning & Reporting Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays. Assist in short-term and long-term construction planning activities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Track productivity and construction performance against project targets. Support project controls and planning teams with progress assessments. Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance Ensure construction activities comply with project HSE requirements. Promote a strong safety culture across all work areas. Participate in safety inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations as required.
