Job Description Quality Control Specialist<br>Job Information:Job Title: Quality Control Specialist Department: QHSE Department Line Manager: QHSE Department Director Location: Riyadh<br>Job Purpose:Execute quality and food safety inspection activities across all stages of operational processes to ensure that products and services comply with regulatory standards and approved specifications. Document all daily inspection results using approved digital or manual forms and submit them on time to the relevant department for follow-up and improvement actions. Coordinate with operations, service, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related performance issues such as equipment breakdowns, spills, or service deficiencies, ensuring timely corrective actions. Investigate quality-related complaints received from customers or operational teams and prepare detailed reports including root cause analysis and proposed corrective actions. Actively participate in internal and external audit visits, provide technical support to auditors and regulatory bodies, and ensure the availability of all required documents and supporting records. Participate in preparing daily quality reports that include performance indicators, deviations, non-conformities, and improvement plans, and share them with relevant management. Review Critical Control Points (CCPs) in food operations, ensure regular documentation, and verify that actual readings comply with approved control standards. Provide technical recommendations and observations based on inspection data and analysis to support continuous improvement and enhance operational compliance. Support on-the-job training for new employees regarding quality and food safety standards, and raise awareness of organizational procedures and policies. Assist in implementing instructions and directives issued by Area Management or Senior Management related to quality and operational safety. <p>Safety Management System Specialist Grade: 6 Location: Taif, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. If you are an executive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering operational excellence, we invite you to join our leadership team.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>• Lead the Company's Engineering function, including Engineering Operations, Project Management Office (PMO), Maintenance and Capital Projects.• Develop and execute the Engineering strategy to support business growth, restaurant expansion and operational excellence.• Ensure the successful delivery of new restaurant openings, relocations and refurbishment projects on time, within budget and to the Company's quality standards.• Drive engineering performance by maximizing asset reliability, equipment availability and maintenance effectiveness across all restaurants and facilities.• Lead engineering governance, technical standards and regulatory compliance, ensuring full adherence to Saudi regulations and health & safety requirements.• Manage engineering CAPEX and OPEX budgets while driving cost optimization and improving asset lifecycle performance.• Build and develop a high-performing Engineering organization, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with consultants, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.• Act as the Company's senior engineering advisor, providing strategic recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team on engineering, infrastructure and capital investment matters.<br>Qualifications & Experience<br>• Bachelor's degree in civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline. A Master's degree is an advantage.• Minimum 10 years of progressive Engineering experience, including at least 8 years in senior leadership roles.• Proven leadership experience managing Engineering, Maintenance, PMO and Capital Projects within a large multi-site organization.• Strong background in the QSR, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, Retail, FMCG or Manufacturing sectors.• Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale expansion programs and time-critical construction projects.• Strong financial acumen with experience managing CAPEX, OPEX and engineering investment decisions.• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.• Professional certifications such as PMP, CMRP, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent are preferred.• Fluent in English. Arabic is an advantage.
