The engineer participates in risk-based walkdowns, validates as-built documentation, supports integration with existing facilities, and provides recommendations to enhance operational efficiency, lifecycle performance, and future adaptability.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Conduct architectural walkdowns with Consultants and EPC to verify installation quality, maintainability, and compliance.</li><li>Prepare handover review reports highlighting deviations, incomplete works, and O&amp;M impacts.</li><li>Validate that architectural works comply with approved designs, specifications, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Assess space planning, circulation, and equipment access to support operational efficiency.</li><li>Identify constraints such as insufficient clearances and unsafe access routes.</li><li>Review exit routes, signage, fire-rated assemblies, accessibility requirements, and architectural barriers.</li><li>Recommend corrective actions for non-compliant or high-risk conditions.</li><li>Evaluate architectural elements for long-term durability and ease of maintenance.</li><li>Recommend improvements to support safe access and maintenance activities.</li><li>Coordinate with Civil/Structural Engineers to ensure site grading, drainage, and penetrations do not compromise building envelopes.</li><li>Coordinate with MEP and BMS/SCADA teams to ensure architectural provisions support equipment access, ventilation, and future maintenance.</li><li>Support BIM and CAFM teams by validating architectural as-built models for FM usability.</li><li>Review IFC drawings, as-built drawings, BIM models, and material submittals for accuracy and completeness.</li><li>Ensure architectural documentation aligns with asset registers and O&amp;M manuals.</li><li>Support document control activities to ensure traceability and compliance.</li><li>Support coordination with local authorities for architectural and life-safety approvals.</li><li>Provide technical briefings to O&amp;M teams on architectural constraints, space reallocation, and operational considerations.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Civil Engineering.</li><li>Proficiency in reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and BIM models (Revit and Navisworks preferred).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, maintainability, and lifecycle performance.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills, particularly in multi-consultant environments.</li></ul><p>Experience</p><ul><li>10–12 years of experience in building design, commissioning, handover management, and O&amp;M-oriented reviews.</li><li>Experience in mega-projects such as airports, hospitals, large campuses, and national infrastructure developments.</li></ul><p>Certifications (Preferred)</p><ul><li>Proficiency in BIM platforms, particularly Revit and Navisworks.</li><li>Professional certifications related to Architecture, Facilities Management, Asset Management, or Project Management are considered an advantage.</li><li>Additional training in life-safety, accessibility standards, or building envelope systems is preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2> <div data-jb-field="skills"><p>Desired Skills</p><ul><li>Architectural Design</li><li>Architectural Reviews and Inspections</li><li>Building Handover and O&amp;M Readiness</li><li>Building Codes and Regulatory Compliance</li><li>Space Planning and Accessibility Assessment</li><li>Building Envelope and Finishes Evaluation</li><li>BIM Model Review (Revit and Navisworks)</li><li>Technical Reporting and Documentation</li><li>Problem Solving and Risk Identification</li><li>Stakeholder Coordination and Communication</li><li>Multi-disciplinary Coordination</li><li>Attention to Detail</li></ul></div>
