</span><p><strong><span>Job Purpose</span></strong></p><br>

<p><span>Manages the maintenance of all electrical systems (high and low current), including the electrical network, building automation systems, toxic gas monitoring, and fire alarm systems under the scope, in the buildings and external areas. </span></p><br> <p><span>Customer satisfaction shall be a priority for the lead, especially ensuring the quality of maintenance tasks performed by the service provider. Interaction with clients and stakeholders, organizing and monitoring, planning, and scheduling of all maintenance activities, spare parts management, and performance monitoring of the service provider are ensured by the Lead in his area of coverage.</span></p><br>

<p><strong><span>Major Accountabilities</span></strong></p><br>
<br>

<li><span>Leads a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the efficient and effective execution of electrical maintenance work by the Service Provider in accordance with the contract KPIs. </span></li>
<li><span>Oversees development and implementation of maintenance programs. </span></li>
<li><span>Establishes and enforces the safety compliance procedures for the execution of all electrical systems maintenance activities. </span></li>
<li><span>Develops and enforces the processes of Quality Assurance and Quality Control of all electrical systems maintenance activities performed by the Service Provider. </span></li>
<li><span>Ensuring the effective implementation of the Preventive, Predictive, Reactive and Corrective maintenance of all electrical systems according to the latest approved vendor/manufacturer recommendations. </span></li>
<li><span>Leads the process of frequent Preventive Maintenance program audits. </span></li>
<li><span>Regularly assess the competency level of Service Provider staff and recommend the required development. </span></li>
<li><span>Coordinates and ensures proper execution of works carried out through subcontractors, especially for manufacturer-authorized maintenance. </span></li>
<li><span>Monitors and analyzes critical spare parts usage and reviews the forecast in addition to evaluation of reimbursements. </span></li>
<li><span>Lead asset management and condition assessment exercise of AAFM electrical equipment/assets. </span></li>
<li><span>Plans future electrical asset replacement and equipment modernization using capital outlay funds as required. </span></li>
<li><span>Reviews reports on emergencies and equipment breakdown with the team to provide feedback and recommendations to management </span></li>
<li><span>Recommend and review training requirements for subordinates as required and encourage career progression. </span></li>
<li><span>Plans, assigns, distributes and prioritizes work among the team, provides guidance and coaching to team member and evaluates their performance. </span></li>
<li><span>Ensuring all management reports are done promptly as per the agreed frequency. </span></li>
<li><span>Develop and coordinate the implementation of new methods, policies, and procedures. </span></li>
<li><span>Prepare monthly work completion certificate inputs and all supporting documents as per contract. </span></li>
<li><span>Attends promptly to major faults. </span></li>
<li><span>Leads commissioning of new electrical and automation systems within the area of responsibility. </span></li>
<li><span>Represents the department in HSE internal and external audits. </span></li>
<li><span>Participate with other KAUST departments in the development of new scopes of work of expansion projects within the area of responsibility. </span></li>
<li><span>Liaising with suppliers, contractors and relevant stakeholders (e.g. HSE, PDE&C and University Projects). </span></li>
<li><span>Ensure customer satisfaction through timely completion of service requests, in-house projects, in addition to expedited resolution of complaints, if any. </span></li>
<li><span>Recommend and review training requirements for subordinates as required and encourage career progression. </span></li>
<li><span>Plans, assigns, distributes, and prioritizes work among the team, provides guidance and coaching to team member, and evaluates their performance. </span></li>
<li><span>Ensuring all management reports are done promptly as per the agreed frequency. </span></li>
<li><span>Review maintenance performance scores, discuss areas of improvement with Service Provider, and implement steps for improvement. </span></li>
<li><span>Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, taking into account “international best practices’, improvement of business processes, sustainability, cost reduction, and productivity improvement. </span></li>
<li><span>Any other task delegated by the Maintenance Manager.</span></li>

<p>The HYCO Operations shift Supervisor is accountable for managing and supervising the operations shift team including shift leads and operators for BHIG facilities which include a Hydrogen Steam Methane Reformer, a CO2 Removal Unit & CO2 Compression, HPSA, Membrane Unit, related Utilities and pipeline network. The Operations Shift Supervisor will manage the day-to-day plant shift operations, which include daily customer production meetings, close communication with feed stock and utilities suppliers to ensure daily operational targets are achieved, interfacing with the Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the site. The Operations shift Supervisor will be responsible to ensure the Operations staff is properly trained to support the operations in addition to the incumbent execute daily tasks if required which include preparing and implementing safety work permits, LOTO, completing operations preventative maintenance activities, and assist the maintenance and engineering teams in preparing and executing corrective maintenance activities. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><b><u>Principal Accountabilities:</u></b></p><p><b>Safety</b></p><ul><li>Provide & maintain a safe work environment. Demonstrate leadership with all company & industry safe work processes to prevent injuries.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Technical:</b></p><ul><li>Provide direction to the staff of the HYCO Steam Methane Reformer unit and ancillary equipment as prescribed by the Work Instruction Procedures. Operate the unit when required.</li><li>Provide direction & guidance based on technical feedback from Assistant Site Manager, Site Manager, Engineering and Maintenance for troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and test activities.</li><li>Provide Operations support, guidance & lead the team during the startups, shutdowns and emergencies of the plants. Maintain accurate document control and monitor quality assurance initiatives. </li><li>Provide Operations guidance to ensure safety, reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.</li><li>Provide Operations input for scheduled outages to ensure contractual requirements are achieved</li><li>Manage plant production efficiently based on data driven decisions to ensure safety and reliability targets are met to achieve maximum profitable.</li><li>Work closely with Shift Team, Assistant Site Manager, Site Manager, Maintenance Team and Engineering team to ensure production targets are achieved in his shift, plant running at optimum energy efficiency and safely.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b><span></span>Operations</b></p><ul><li>Ensure the safety of all operations personnel by utilizing the BHIG Basic Safety Practice program, which includes Safety Work Permits, LOTO, Confined Space, etc. The position facilitates planning, organizing, auditing, and follow-up, to build the BHIG s safety culture into the BHIG.</li><li>Ensure all Environmental Regulatory requirements are met.</li><li>Ensure compliance to all CM, PM tasks.</li><li>Support and prepare for Shutdown Planning and Turnaround Planning.</li><li>Ensure BHIG standards, and global best practices for EH&S, productivity, reliability, quality, and overall customer services are met</li><li>Meet the customer’s satisfaction on safety, reliability, product quality, and flexibility on product supply.</li><li>Build the plant technical capability through support coordination from Assistant Site Manager, Site Manager, Maintenance Team and Engineering team.</li><li>Provide coaching and motivation to the operations team to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Develop, train, and promote top performing personnel who achieve success through teams, customer and employee focused, foster open communication, performance driven, and results oriented.</li><li>Establish & maintain close working relationships with engineering and maintenance personnel to continuously monitor & evaluate plant systems & equipment through a Plant Process Advisory Model.</li><li>Provide operations support and participate / lead incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis. Identify & implement sustainable corrective action(s).</li><li>Act as the Single Point of Contact when dealing with internal issues of the HYCO units, representing APQ and coordinating internal resources. Provide timely progress updates to the customer.</li><li>Facilitate attainment of operations excellence and customer satisfaction via operations productivity, reliability, quality, cost reduction, services, continuous improvements, and meeting of budgets.</li><li>Maintain a relationship with the customer’s counterparts from other Refinery Units where from APQ either receiving Feedstock, Utilities & Power or supplying Hydrogen and Steam to different Refinery Units on a regular basis through Refinery Shift Superintendent to ensure alignment of expectations for APQ and the customers current and future product demand.</li><li>Fully accountable to ensure his logs and that his operator’s logs are accurate and compliant with published matrix.</li><li>Accountable to view all IOW Event Manager Logs and ensure proper actions have been taken on a daily basis.</li><li>Accountable to personally inspect all Active Leaks each shift and update any degradation in his report.</li><li>Accountable to audit, review and assign action each day for the logs from his operators.</li><li>Accountable to complete his team’s Work List on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.</li><li>Accountable to ensure implementation of issued mitigation plans for all Emergency and High level (Safety Risk/Environment Risk/Availability Risk/Utilization Risk/Energy Risk) log items.</li></ul><p><br></p> </div><h2 class="h5">Skills</h2>

An associate technical degree (2-year certificate) will be considered based on years of experience and competence.</li><li>Experience in gas, petrochemical, or related industries in operations, engineering, and/or a maintenance function. Demonstrated HYCO knowledge a plus, with a minimum of 10 years’ experience with 4 + years in line supervision of process operations roles.</li><li>Expectation based on level of experience for the operations team to achieve a ‘Level 1 / Board Level’ status within 2 – 4 years. Operators will be evaluated during the training period and placed at the level of competence accordingly. All the operations team are considered field and board operators when Level 1 is achieved. Responsibilities 1. HSE Management & Safety Leadership Implement and maintain HSE management systems for the factory operations phase, aligned with corporate standards and local regulatory requirements.
