Basic Scope: <br>Serves as First Officer on Aloula Fleet of aircraft at the discretion of the Chief Pilot. As atrainee, he is under close supervision of the respective Fleet Captain, Training Captain, and Captain.<br>Scope: <br>Responsible for assigned flight activity for any of the Aramco Fleet type of aircraft, which consists of Boeing 737-800, Gulfstream, Hawker 900XP, King Air 350 and Air tractor 802, in or out the Kingdom, as assigned by the Chief Pilot. The activities include servicing and support of exploration, drilling and pipeline camps or, operations in remote desert areas using paved or unprepared airstrips. Pilots are expected to exercise initiative and judgement in carrying out assignments to ensure protection of aircraft, safety of passengers and cargo, and that flight logs or other records are complete and authenticated.<br>Roles and Responsibilities: <br>Performs as First Officer, pilot monitoring and/or pilot flying duties in compliance with the Flight Operation Manual and at the direction of the Captain. Performs as assigned standby duty for up to 48 hours per week.<br>Conducts interior and pre-flight inspections. Initializes navigation systems and verifies accuracy of manually inserted data. Obtains weather briefing, route information, files flight plan and reviews all flight details for correctness.<br>Checks, along with the Captain, all instruments, engines and communications equipment prior to the flight. Conducts radio communications necessary for departure after engine starts. Assists Captain with final checks to determine that all instruments and avionics are operating properly.<br>Pilots the aircraft, as directed by the Captain, in accordance with established and well recognized airman procedures and ICAO/GACA/FAA Rules and Regulations. Responsible for a continuing progression in knowledge of operating procedures in aircraft assigned to operate.<br>Maintains continuous radio communications with appropriate control facilities, making required position reports and receiving changes/amendments to the flight plan. Operates navigation systems to assure proper aircraft track in accordance with flight clearance.<br>Maintains navigation log as a cross check between actual flight progress and flight plan. Advises the Captain of discrepancies noted, and assists in developing alternate courses of action when necessary.<br>Assists the Captain in assuring the safety and comfort of the passengers and ensures that the aircraft is being operated in compliance with established GACA, Company and Department Operating and Safety Regulations.<br>Assists the Captain with securing aircraft, Customs & Immigration formalities & passenger disembarkation from aircraft. Performs duties as may be assigned by Chief Pilot, Fleet Captain, Training Captain or Captain or their designee including office duty if required. Completes all assigned courses.<br>Minimum Requirements: <br>Must have a minimum of 200 flight hrs. including hours acquired in Initial Approved Training Program(IATP). Continued advancement towards satisfactory completion of all ground and flight training for the appropriate aircraft.
