Welding Supervisor Location: Saudi Arabia Industry: Welding / Fabrication / Plant Services<br>We are currently supporting a well-established engineering and industrial services organization in Saudi Arabia with the appointment of an experienced Welding Supervisor. The successful candidate will lead and supervise a team of welders, allocate work in line with drawings and approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), monitor weld quality, enforce HSE standards and ensure welding activities are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule. Key Responsibilities Supervise and assign welding activities based on welder qualifications and capability. Ensure all welding work is carried out in accordance with approved WPS, drawings and project requirements. Monitor daily welding progress and maintain low repair and rejection rates. Enforce the use of PPE, hot-work controls, fire-watch requirements and site HSE procedures. Train, coach and mentor junior welders on welding best practices and quality standards. Evaluate available manpower, tools and welding consumables to ensure work is completed within approved resources. Maintain accurate daily records of welding activities, including completed joints, welder allocation, issues and rework. Report daily progress and any welding-related concerns to the Project Manager.<br>Requirements Secondary School Certificate. Approximately 5–8 years' experience as a welder, with progressively increasing supervisory or leadership responsibility. Strong knowledge of welding processes including:SMAWGMAWFCAWAbility to read and interpret welding symbols and basic engineering drawings. Good understanding of WPS requirements and welding-consumable handling. Strong awareness of welding safety, hot-work precautions and HSE requirements.
