This full-time position involves leading the piping discipline within an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment, contributing to single or multiple projects. The role requires active participation in proposal and bidding activities, alongside providing essential technical support during construction and commissioning phases, with daily involvement in the engineering process.</p> <h3 >Core Responsibilities</h3> <ul > <li >Plan, schedule, monitor, and control all engineering activities specific to the piping discipline.</li> <li >Facilitate interdisciplinary coordination and actively support team building initiatives.</li> <li >Proactively identify and escalate potential issues or problems to management for timely resolution.</li> <li >Participate in progress review meetings, technical meetings, client meetings, and vendor meetings.</li> <li >Review and provide comments on GES plus engineering deliverables as required.</li> <li >Ensure the safety and quality standards of all deliverables are consistently met.</li> <li >Participate in Value Engineering practices, including lessons learned sessions, Risk Assessment/Management studies and workshops, and constructability studies and workshops.</li> <li >Contribute to customer satisfaction and appreciation, thereby enhancing the company's image.</li> </ul> <h3 >Project Support and Collaboration</h3> <ul > <li >Support Procurement-related activities, including raising Material Requisitions (MR), conducting Technical Bid Clarification/Evaluation (TBC/TBE), and preparing Draft Purchase Requisitions.</li> <li >Provide support to the bidding team by raising Requests for Quotation (RFQs), conducting technical evaluation of bids, and preparing cost estimates.</li> <li >Support construction operations by responding to technical queries (TQ) originating from construction sites.</li> </ul> <h3 >Qualifications and Experience</h3> <ul > <li >A minimum of <strong >10 years of combined experience</strong> in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, and Power Industries.</li> <li >Demonstrated experience working with GES plus/EPC Contractors on projects for Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and other reputable organizations.</li> <li >Proven experience as a support team member during pre-commissioning activities.</li> </ul> <h3 >Education and Certifications</h3> <ul > <li >Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BS, BE or B Tech).</li> <li >Completion of relevant training and certification courses is required.</li> </ul> <h3 >Work Environment</h3> <p >This role operates within an EPC environment, requiring a proactive approach to engineering challenges and collaborative engagement across various project phases and disciplines.</p>
