<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Full-Time | Onsite Project Duration: Long-term project assignment About the Role We are looking for an Encryption Operations &amp; Support Engineer to provide day-to-day operational and technical support for enterprise encryption and security infrastructure.<br> The role will focus on health monitoring, preventive and corrective maintenance, incident troubleshooting, service requests, patching coordination, license and asset tracking, documentation, testing, and operational support.<br> Key Responsibilities Perform daily health checks and operational monitoring of encryption and security platforms.<br> Handle service requests and incidents related to encryption, KMS, HSM, and associated infrastructure.<br> Perform first-level troubleshooting and coordinate escalation of complex technical issues.<br> Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.<br> Coordinate patching, upgrades, fixes, and vendor maintenance activities.<br> Monitor software licenses, subscriptions, assets, and support contracts.<br> Maintain configuration records, inventories, technical documentation, and operational runbooks.<br> Support technical testing, validation, and system changes.<br> Participate in backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.<br> Support knowledge-transfer sessions and maintain operational procedures.<br> Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams to resolve incidents and service issues.<br> Prepare operational and maintenance reports.<br> Participate in scheduled maintenance windows and on-call support when required.<br> Required Qualifications &amp; Experience Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering , or a related field.<br> 4+ years of experience in IT operations, security operations, technical support, or cybersecurity infrastructure.<br> Experience supporting enterprise security technologies is preferred.<br> Knowledge of incident management, service management, troubleshooting, documentation, and change management.<br> Strong communication and coordination skills.<br> Ability to work full-time onsite in Dammam .<br> Required Certification One of the following: ITIL 4 Foundation , or CompTIA Security+ .<br> Preferred Certifications &amp; Training Thales CipherTrust / Luna administration training.<br> Vendor-specific encryption/HSM administration certification.<br> Additional ITSM, security operations, or infrastructure certification.<br> Relevant Microsoft, Linux, or enterprise infrastructure certification.<br> Core Competencies IT Operations | Security Support | Encryption | HSM | KMS | Incident Management | Troubleshooting | Change Management | Documentation | ITSM | Vendor Coordination Candidates should highlight relevant experience in enterprise IT/security operations, encryption or HSM support, incident management, and vendor technologies.<br></span> </div><h2 data-automation-id="subHeaderPreferredCandidate" class="h5"> Preferred candidate </h2> <div class="row is-m v-align-top t-small bg-mute"> <div class="col is-3 p5" data-automation-id="label_Years_of_experience"> <b>Years of experience</b> </div> <div class="col is-9 p5" data-automation-id="data_Years_of_experience"> No experience required </div> </div> <div class="row is-m v-align-top t-small "> <div class="col is-3 p5" data-automation-id="label_Degree"> <b>Degree</b> </div> <div class="col is-9 p5" data-automation-id="data_Degree"> Bachelor's degree / higher diploma </div> </div>
