Position Summary<br><br>The Senior Specialized Sales Engineer is responsible for driving the profitable growth of Schneider Electric's Busway Systems business through specification influence, project pursuit, technical leadership and customer engagement.<br><br>The role serves as the primary technical and commercial interface between customers, partners, consultants, project execution teams, supply chain and manufacturing facilities, ensuring seamless project delivery from design development through installation and commissioning.<br><br>The successful candidate combines strong deep technical expertise with sales acumen in busway systems, application engineering, design review, system layout optimization, BOM generation, factory coordination and site execution support.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Sales & Business Development Develop and execute territory growth plans for Schneider Electric Busway Systems. Drive project specifications with consultants, EPCs, contractors, panel builders, and end users. Generate and develop new business opportunities across Data Centers, Buildings, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Utilities, and Industrial segments. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to position Schneider Electric as the preferred Busway partner. Manage project opportunities from early design stage until order closure. Achieve annual sales, profitability, and market share objectives. Maintain an accurate project pipeline and forecast. Technical Sales Leadership Provide technical consultation and solution architecture for Busway applications. Support customers in selecting the most suitable busway configurations and system architectures. Review project specifications, single-line diagrams, and electrical layouts. Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and customer training. Promote Schneider Electric's value proposition through solution selling and lifecycle benefits. Support value engineering initiatives to improve competitiveness while maintaining compliance and reliability. Design & Application Engineering Prepare preliminary Busway layouts and routing concepts. Review customer electrical drawings, specifications, and installation requirements. Develop and validate isometric drawings for manufacturing and installation purposes. Generate and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs). Support busway sizing, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit calculations, and system optimization. Ensure solutions comply with IEC standards and project requirements. Coordinate technical approvals and design clarifications throughout project execution. Partner Development & Capability Building Develop and execute Schneider Electric Busway Partner Enablement programs. Train, certify and upskill Schneider Electric partners on Busway technologies, applications, installation practices and competitive differentiation. Conduct technical workshops, customer seminars and product awareness sessions. Support partner business planning and go-to-market strategies. Drive partner competency development to ensure sustainable business growth and project execution excellence. Factory Interface & Engineering Coordination Single Point of Contact for Manufacturing Act as the primary interface between customers, partners, sales teams, engineering teams, and Schneider Electric manufacturing facilities. Manage technical and commercial communication with the factory throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure customer requirements are accurately captured and communicated to manufacturing teams. Drive timely responses to technical queries, design clarifications, and engineering deviations. Facilitate alignment between customer expectations and manufacturing capabilities. Design Translation & Factory Readiness Convert partner and consultant drawings into factory-ready engineering packages. Translate customer drawings, sketches, specifications, and installation requirements into manufacturing-friendly formats. Develop isometric drawings and fabrication documentation understandable by factory engineering teams. Ensure all technical requirements, dimensions, routing details, and installation constraints are clearly defined before production release. Review factory drawings and ensure alignment with approved customer designs. Supply Chain & Project Fulfillment Management Actively follow up with factories, planning teams, and supply chain stakeholders to ensure on-time project delivery. Monitor order progress from booking through manufacturing, logistics, shipment, and site delivery. Identify potential supply risks and proactively drive mitigation plans. Coordinate priorities for critical projects and strategic customer requirements. Provide customers and internal stakeholders with regular project status updates. Support expediting activities for urgent projects and critical milestones. Work closely with logistics and manufacturing teams to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction. Site Installation & Project Support Conduct site visits and installation reviews. Support customers and contractors during installation and commissioning activities. Provide technical guidance on installation best practices and site execution. Resolve technical issues arising during installation and startup. Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful project completion. Ensure PCE equipment is maintained according to OEM requirements, company procedures, and client specifications. Conduct and support SM2/SM3 inspections, pressure testing, function testing, and certification of PCE equipment. Review equipment condition, identify potential failures, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure PCE equipment is properly prepared and certified before mobilization to the field. Support troubleshooting of PCE-related failures during field operations when required. Identify critical PCE spare parts, maintain appropriate stock levels, and ensure spare parts availability to support equipment reliability and operational readiness. Review spare parts requirements based on equipment condition, maintenance history, OEM recommendations, and upcoming operational requirements. Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, suppliers, and Maintenance teams to ensure critical spare parts are available on time and avoid operational delays or NPT. Maintain and regularly review the PCE critical spare parts list, including lead times, minimum/maximum stock levels, and obsolete or hard-to-source components. Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and client requirements, including proper tagging, certification, and identification of equipment. Provide technical guidance and coaching to mechanics and technicians working with PCE. Participate in failure investigations and root cause analysis related to PCE equipment. Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce NPT, and optimize maintenance and spare parts practices. Maintain awareness of applicable industry standards and best practices related to pressure control equipment.<br>Qualifications Diploma / Technical Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Maintenance, or a related technical discipline. Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in Pressure Control Equipment (PCE), preferably supporting Slickline / Well Intervention operations. Proven hands-on experience with inspection, maintenance, repair, pressure testing and certification of Slickline PCE. NDT Level II certification (PT/MT and/or UT as applicable). API Spec Q1 training / awareness; Internal Auditor certification would be an advantage. Good knowledge of applicable API standards, OEM requirements and pressure control equipment maintenance practices. IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control certification is highly desirable. OEM training/certification on Slickline PCE would be an advantage. Experience with SM2/SM3 inspection and certification requirements. Previous experience in Oil & Gas service companies / well intervention environments preferred. Valid HSE certifications such as H2S, First Aid, BOSIET/FOET or equivalent, where required by the operating environment.<br>Technical & Functional Skills Strong technical knowledge of Slickline Pressure Control Equipment, including lubricators, BOPs, stuffing boxes, tool traps, quick-test subs, wellhead connections and associated pressure-control components. Strong capability in PCE inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and pressure/function testing. Ability to interpret OEM manuals, drawings, maintenance procedures, inspection criteria and test certificates. Knowledge of equipment certification, tagging and traceability requirements. Strong understanding of failure mechanisms, equipment integrity and preventive/predictive maintenance. Experience conducting failure investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Good understanding of critical spare parts management, including min/max levels, lead times, reorder requirements and obsolete components. Ability to assess spare requirements based on equipment condition, maintenance history and operational forecast. Experience using CMMS systems such as SAP, Maximo or equivalent. Good knowledge of inventory and maintenance planning. Strong awareness of QHSE requirements, pressure-testing safety and operational risk controls. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will assist in leading the Engineering team through the final stages of construction, testing, commissioning, operational setup, and the smooth transition into daily maintenance activities. You will be responsible for ensuring all systems and equipment meet Four Seasons’ standards of quality, efficiency, and safety, supporting both project readiness and ongoing operations.<br><br>What You Will Do<br><br>Support the Engineering leadership team in reviewing technical specifications, MEP installations, and testing procedures to ensure compliance with operational standards. Participate actively in inspections, snagging, commissioning, and system testing processes alongside contractors and consultants. Supervise the handover of equipment, technical documentation, warranties, and asset tagging to ensure complete and accurate operational transitions. Oversee the setup and data entry of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (Hotsos), including asset registration, preventive maintenance schedules, and task generation. Coordinate closely with contractors and project teams to ensure timely rectification of defects, completion of punch lists, and successful system handovers. Assist in setting up engineering workshops, storerooms, organizing tools, spare parts, and implementing energy monitoring systems. Organize and supervise technical training for the engineering team on newly installed systems, such as HVAC, BMS, generators, elevators, and fire life safety equipment. Maintain comprehensive records of commissioning certificates, inspection reports, service agreements, and compliance documentation. Plan and oversee preventive maintenance activities for all critical equipment prior to and post-opening to ensure optimal operational reliability. Conduct regular site walks and inspections to ensure all health, safety, and fire life safety standards are fully adhered to. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Security, Food & Beverage, and other operational departments to ensure the resort’s technical readiness. Manage and assign engineering tasks, ensuring efficient and timely responses to snagging items, maintenance requests, and last-minute project adjustments. Transition into daily supervision of maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance programs, guest room repairs, public area maintenance, and emergency responses. Promote a culture of safety, sustainability, and service excellence within the Engineering team through hands-on leadership and training.<br><br>What You Bring<br><br>A diploma or degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field. Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in luxury hotels, resorts, or large facilities, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire life safety systems, and energy management systems. Proven experience with pre-opening activities including commissioning, snagging, defect management, and system handover processes. Familiarity with CMMS platforms, particularly Hotsos, and strong skills in asset and preventive maintenance management. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic pre-opening environment, adapt quickly to changes, and manage shifting operational priorities.
