Planning for effective signage in line with corporate branding Provision of an effective security management system that ensures all the above is achievable.Change Management: Variations and adjustments to Logistics Contractors scope, review the requirements and assess the impacts. Monitor construction change management process via the Engineer. Permitting: The Logistics Contractor s acquisition of all necessary permits for smooth logistics operations. Cost: Review completeness of established budgets and review cost plans. Ensure that work is re-measured and work is signed off in accordance with the contract. Planning: The monthly detailed graphical time slice showing plot and infrastructure activities and how logistics will support. Review weekly plans, confirm the activities are accurate and coordinated across stakeholders. Risk: Review detailed risk register developed by logistics contractor and team coordinated with all site stakeholders, complete with implement mitigation plan. Interface: Provide coordination across all programme consultants and stakeholders related to logistics works. Provide support to plots in terms of external access and influences that impact plot activities. Communication: Through regular meetings, highlight issues, concerns and roll out weekly directions to stakeholder s team managers. Seek resolution to any issues with the respective plot, infrastructure or logistics teams or escalate with the proposed mitigation plan. Reporting: Weekly issues through detailed logistics dashboards. Responsibilities <ul><li>Lead and coordinate the end-to-end repair process for damaged, nonconforming, and rework components, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.</li><li>Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, component condition, and historical repair data to define repair scopes, including methods, limits, and acceptance criteria.</li><li>Act as the primary interface with machine shop suppliers to communicate requirements, expectations, priorities, inspections, and delivery timelines.</li><li>Coordinate with R&M, Engineering, Quality Control, Operations, and Supply Chain to align repair execution, documentation, logistics, and system updates.</li><li>Ensure repaired components are inspected and validated against scope requirements, including dimensional, visual, and NDE inspections where applicable.</li><li>Maintain repair trackers, monitor progress, identify risks or delays, and provide status updates to stakeholders and leadership.</li><li>Support logistics coordination for movement of tools, components, and repaired items to meet operational needs.</li><li>Identify failure trends, supplier performance gaps, and improvement opportunities to enhance quality, cycle time, and cost efficiency.</li><li>Coordinate with global stakeholders to provide accurate repair data, cost impacts, and alignment with the Global Repair Catalog.</li><li>Collaborate with other Repair Machine Champions to share best practices and support development of repair capabilities.</li></ul>Skills <ul><li>Strong technical capability in repair assessment, scope definition, and machine shop repair methods.</li><li>Knowledge of machining processes, including turning, grinding, milling, welding, cladding, and surface restoration.</li><li>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, dimensional requirements, material specifications, and quality acceptance criteria.</li><li>Understanding of quality control, quality assurance, NCR management, inspection planning, and release requirements.</li><li>Supplier management, negotiation, follow-up, and cross-functional coordination skills.</li><li>Attention to quality, compliance, documentation accuracy, and traceability.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with clear ownership and escalation discipline.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with timely risk escalation.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with ERP, NCR, and repair tracking tools.</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</li><li>5–8 years of experience in repair, manufacturing, machine shop operations, R&M, quality, or technical support within drilling tools or oilfield equipment.</li><li>Experience in drilling services, R&M, quality, manufacturing, or supplier repair management environments preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of inspection methods, including dimensional, visual, and NDE, and repair validation practices.</li><li>Experience with supplier qualification, performance monitoring, audits, and repair capability development preferred.</li><li>Awareness of ISO, API, engineering, quality, and HSE standards relevant to repair and manufacturing.</li></ul>#LI-MD1 Weatherford is a leading global energy services company. We are seeking a Technical Project Manager – HPC/AI to supervise, coordinate, and manage a portfolio of medium- to large-scale technology projects focused on AI/ML platforms, high-performance computing, data management, and software/platform delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent workstreams, coordinating internal engineering teams, interfacing with executive stakeholders and subject matter experts, and ensuring disciplined delivery across scope, schedule, quality, risk, and stakeholder expectations. This role is ideal for a structured, proactive, and technically conversant project manager who can operate in a fast-paced enterprise environment and coordinate delivery across multidisciplinary engineering teams. * Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent technical project workstreams across AI/ML platforms, HPC-related systems, software delivery, and data management initiatives. * Oversee project execution across approximately 5–6 active workstreams, coordinating with a delivery organization of 30+ engineers. * Serve as the primary coordination point between internal engineering teams, executives, subject matter experts, and technical stakeholders. * Develop and maintain project plans, delivery schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, risk registers, and status reports. * Track scope, timelines, deliverables, issues, risks, resource allocation, and change requests across all assigned workstreams. * Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies where applicable, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and delivery tracking. * Ensure clear communication of project status, blockers, risks, decisions, and escalation items to senior stakeholders. * Coordinate requirements gathering, technical discussions, acceptance criteria, testing, documentation, deployment planning, and handover activities. * Support project governance through regular reporting, steering committee preparation, stakeholder updates, and executive-level summaries. * Work closely with engineering leads to ensure deliverables are completed on time, aligned with requirements, and meet quality expectations. * Drive accountability across teams while maintaining a collaborative and professional delivery environment. * Support continuous improvement of delivery processes, project documentation, reporting standards, and team coordination practices.Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, Project Management, or a related field. * 2–3+ years of experience in technical project management, project coordination, delivery management, or a similar role. * Experience coordinating software, platform, data, infrastructure, AI/ML, or enterprise technology projects. * Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and project management practices. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methods. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously. * Strong documentation, planning, reporting, and organizational skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. * Must be based in, or willing to relocate to, the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, specifically Khobar, Dhahran, or Dammam.
