Purpose of the Position To provide hands-on maintenance services for Quay Cranes (QC) and Yard Cranes (YC), while planning, supervising, and controlling the work of the assigned team. The role ensures operational and departmental priorities are achieved by maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability.<br>Key Competencies The Crane Electrical Engineer shall demonstrate competency in:Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing electrical and control systems. Identifying and classifying electrical and electronic components. Understanding the life cycles and failure modes of electrical and electronic components. Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. Medium-voltage electrical installations and power distribution systems. Experience in the maintenance of container cranes (QC/STS, RTG, RMG, or YC) is preferred. Experience with PLCs, industrial drives, medium-voltage systems, and crane electrical systems is highly desirable. <br>Working Conditions The position is office-based with frequent visits to operational and maintenance areas. Working conditions include:Outdoor work in hot weather. Exposure to grease, oil, cleaning chemicals, and other industrial contaminants. Occasional exposure to high-noise environments.
