<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>Position Overview We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to assist/lead in technical design, architecture, and deployment of solutions on the Now Platform.<br> In this high-impact role, you will champion the organization platform strategy, driving the optimization of IT Service Management (ITSM) workflows and engineering complex, strategic custom applications using IT Workflows and ServiceNow App Engine.<br> You will also be contributing to scheduled platform upgrades, plugin updates, and making sure they do not impact on the existing services and process.<br> Key Responsibilities ITSM: Develop enhancement requirements related to ITSM suite (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Service Catalog) to enhance automation and improve employee experience.<br> Develop custom dashboards and reports for management and business units.<br> App Engine: Design and engineer complex scoped custom enterprise applications utilizing App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and advanced IntegrationHub spokes.<br> Platform Governance: Share experience on technical standards, managing update set, oversee code reviews, and maintaining overall platform health, upgradability, and performance.<br> Advanced Integrations: Architect complex bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and MID servers.<br> Mentorship &amp; Collaboration: Lead and mentor junior developers, collaborate with product owners to translate business vision into technical requirements, and guide stakeholder expectations.<br> Required Skills &amp; Qualifications Experience: 6+ years of dedicated ServiceNow development and architecture experience.<br> Subject Matter Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of the Now Platform, ITSM processes, and low-code/pro-code application development within App Engine.<br> Advanced Scripting: Mastery of JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, and Service Portal widgets.<br> Certifications: Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified System Administrator (CSA) are required .<br> Certified Application Specialist (CAS) in App Engine or ITSM Implementation Specialist is highly preferred.<br> Soft Skills: Proven experience leading technical teams, managing cross-functional projects, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.<br></span> </div><h2 data-automation-id="subHeaderPreferredCandidate" class="h5"> Preferred candidate </h2> <div class="row is-m v-align-top t-small bg-mute"> <div class="col is-3 p5" data-automation-id="label_Years_of_experience"> <b>Years of experience</b> </div> <div class="col is-9 p5" data-automation-id="data_Years_of_experience"> No experience required </div> </div> <div class="row is-m v-align-top t-small "> <div class="col is-3 p5" data-automation-id="label_Degree"> <b>Degree</b> </div> <div class="col is-9 p5" data-automation-id="data_Degree"> Bachelor's degree / higher diploma </div> </div>
