<br><p><strong>About this opportunity:</strong></p><br><br><p>The IMS Technical Authority Expert is part of Managed Services deliveries in line with the Ericsson Operations Engine. The role is responsible for providing technology leadership, governance, expertise, and operational support across the full lifecycle of Create, Sustain, and Evolve within the IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) domain.</p><br><br><p>The role acts as the highest level of technical authority for IMS solutions, ensuring architectures, configurations, integrations, and operational activities align with Ericsson standards, customer requirements, and industry best practices. The position supports network delivery, operations, automation initiatives, customer experience improvements, and critical incident management while ensuring service availability, scalability, security, and SLA compliance.</p><br><br><br>What you will do
<br><p><strong>IMS Technical Authority & Governance</strong><br>• Provide Technical Authority (TA) leadership for the IMS domain across design, delivery, operations, and evolution.<br>• Govern IMS solutions to ensure architectures, configurations, and changes comply with standards and best practices.<br>• Review and guide IMS designs, upgrades, integrations, and implementations across CSCFs, SBCs, TAS, HSS/UDM, PCRF/PCF, and ENUM.<br>• Support delivery and change activities through technical risk, impact, and fallback assessments.</p><br><br><p><strong>Incident & Problem Management</strong><br>• Serve as the highest technical escalation point for complex IMS incidents, degradations, and failures.<br>• Support incident resolution, troubleshooting, degradation analysis, and escalation coordination.<br>• Coordinate with vendors, partners, field services, and SNOC teams during incidents and operations.<br>• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.</p><br><br><p><strong>Customer Experience & Service Improvement</strong><br>• Lead customer experience improvements through KPI analysis and operational insights.<br>• Support Customer Experience Management activities including S-KPI/R-KPI analysis and improvement implementation.<br>• Manage lifecycle-based use cases including design, build, testing, and operations.<br>• Ensure IMS solutions meet availability, scalability, redundancy, security, and SLA requirements.</p><br><br><p><strong>Change Management & Service Fulfillment</strong><br>• Support Change Introduction and Business Requirement impact analysis.<br>• Support complex change execution and fallback decision-making.<br>• Handle service fulfillment activities including software updates, feature implementation, standard changes, and asset/configuration management.<br>• Assess software update impacts and define implementation procedures.<br>• Support end-to-end service requests including planning, testing, execution, reporting, and logging.</p><br><br><p><strong>System Administration & Operations Support</strong><br>• Perform system administration and maintenance including database maintenance, server/application interconnections, and user access management.<br>• Define KPI reporting, event correlation, and filtering mechanisms.</p><br><br><p><strong>Analytics & Automation</strong><br>• Support IMS analytics and automation initiatives.<br>• Identify automation opportunities and collaborate on automation use cases.<br>• Prepare Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for automation implementation.<br>• Analyze operational trends to proactively detect failures and support restoration activities.</p><br><br>The skills you bring
